I've said it before (in a previous review) and I'll say it again: this hotel has absolutely excellent customer service. The team of receptionists are all equally friendly and welcoming. They are also quick in responding to e-mails and go out of their way to respond to requests. The location of the hotel is excellent and given the Covid-19 regulations, you can order food either from the hotel restaurant or from the restaurant Histoires d'O that the hotel has a cooperation with. It is also perfectly acceptable to organise your own take away from any other restaurant. A table is provided in the room. Breakfast is still served as a buffet but we were a little disappointed at the quality of the bread and eggs. The butter was also past its sell by date by about a month. As for hygiene, and this is something I have also remarked upon before, this could be way better. Especially in times of Corona, I believe an extra effort should be made. No one at the breakfast buffet was asked to wear gloves and the guests did not seem to use any cutlery when choosing bread and the like. We were also given a dirty spoon with our evening food menu in the room. The cleaning lady did not wear a facial mask and cleaning consisted of refreshing towels, emptying the bins and picking up the dirty plates/cups etc and just closing the covers of the bed. I feel this is an issue that should be worked at. Saying that, the welcoming attitude of the receptionists, the welcome drink offered (to Platinum guests) and the organisation of inhouse dinner will make me come back to this hotel. Thanks for another lovely stay!
