My son Stayed at this hotel booked and paid on booking.com then had to pay again when he arrived.This has been on going since August.We have email prove a mistake has been made and again emails go unanswered.Please resolve this matter please.

So I booked this on booking.com and paid in advance so when we arrived it should of been quick and easy but that wasn’t the case they asked us to pay again even though I showed them proof I had already paid before arriving, they wouldn’t have that so I paid again as we had no we’re else to sleep and since then I have been fighting to get my money back even though I spoke with the manager and they have agreed that is was a mistake and they would refund me. It’s nearly Christmas now and still no refund and now I am just been ignored so it has put me off booking an ibis hotel again

Dear Mr. Dale, After verification, we can only find one payment under your name. The payment requested upon arrival was based on instructions received from Booking.com; we simply followed the standard procedure. Have you checked whether Booking.com may have charged the amount twice? Additionally, platforms such as TripAdvisor are intended to share a hotel experience. To the best of my knowledge, your stay went very well, and the issue concerns billing rather than the quality of your stay. Receiving such a low rating for a matter for which we are not responsible is frustrating for passionate hoteliers like us, who continuously strive to make our guests as happy as possible. I have sent you a private email in order to resolve this issue. While awaiting your response, I wish you an excellent day.

The hotel is in a very convenient but slightly odd location although perfect for visits to walibi parc as it's just down the road. Hotel reception and bar area are lovely. Stylish, clean, welcoming. It was Halloween so was appropriately decorated. The family room wasn't exactly luxurious but the beds were very comfortable and we slept soundly. The best thing about the hotel is it's lovely staff. Great mos working at reception when we arrived. There was a bit of a mix up with accor but he explained what we needed to do to get sorted. Lovely atmosphere in the bar area where we enjoyed our welcome drinks which was due to the chap who welcomed us in at reception as he was happily chatting with the guests. Spoke to the hotel manager in the morning who was able to resolve the issue with accor. Would definitely recommend a stay at this hotel if you're passing.

Located very close to Walibi theme park with free parking. Hotel although modern, looked tired and in need of a fresh revamp. Rooms were basic but clean. Had to move room from the room literally being wrapped around the lift shaft to a quieter room which the lovely lady on reception did. No evening food available which was a shame so we had to order out for food. Got offered free drinks by the same lovely lady who is a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was okay, with a good selection. Overall, if you just want to rest your head and have breakfast, it's clean and basic.
