My son Stayed at this hotel booked and paid on booking.com then had to pay again when he arrived.This has been on going since August.We have email prove a mistake has been made and again emails go unanswered.Please resolve this matter please.

So I booked this on booking.com and paid in advance so when we arrived it should of been quick and easy but that wasn’t the case they asked us to pay again even though I showed them proof I had already paid before arriving, they wouldn’t have that so I paid again as we had no we’re else to sleep and since then I have been fighting to get my money back even though I spoke with the manager and they have agreed that is was a mistake and they would refund me. It’s nearly Christmas now and still no refund and now I am just been ignored so it has put me off booking an ibis hotel again

The payment requested upon arrival was based on instructions received from Booking.com; we simply followed the standard procedure. Have you checked whether Booking.com may have charged the amount twice? Additionally, platforms such as TripAdvisor are intended to share a hotel experience. To the best of my knowledge, your stay went very well, and the issue concerns billing rather than the quality of your stay. Receiving such a low rating for a matter for which we are not responsible is frustrating for passionate hoteliers like us, who continuously strive to make our guests as happy as possible.
