As described a bed for the night, but its clean, well located, quick check in/out. You need to borrow hair dryer and ironing machine with a deposit. Perhaps they should invest in better ironing boards.

The room is clean, the bed is ok, I got quiet side in the hotel, which is nice, but what you did on my departure day by your staff was so shameful, cutting of power while the guest is till in the room, checkout time use to be around midday 12.00pm, although some hotels change it to 11.30am or 11.00am. I was still in the room, it was few minutes to 10.00am and the power cut off, forcing the guest to leave is alright. I will mad it clear to accor am not coming to your hotel anymore. It was a shameful experience and am not coming back, if you people have no respect for others. At first we weren't happy that UK left the EU, I think now it was the right decision, your people come to England we treat them nice and friendly make them feel welcome, we come to Belgium you treat us like we are no body.

Convenient & close to station

The ibis budget is a fairly typical member of the chain. It's convenient & close to the railway station, on a cycle path and a short walk for the town's bus station. The city centre and cathedral are about 15 minutes' walk away. the rooms are functional, yet not uncomfortable. there's a small breakfast area on the ground floor, and a small supermarket underneath the hotel at the entrance to the railway station. Breakfast costs extra, but is probably worthwhile; I had boiled egg (I got the timing better this time), slice of brown bread with cheese, a croissant with apricot jam and two mini pains aux raisins. I washed it down with some weedy grapefruit “juice” and two decent cups of coffee. There's also ham available. There are many bars, cafes and restaurants to eat on the other side of the station about 5 minutes away on foot. As with all Ibis, book early if you want a good rate, we ended up paying more than friends in a much more upmarket hotel nearby, because we left it too late to book!
