The room was small but clean and functional for a short business trip - I chose the IBIS centrum as it was a heatwave and needed AC. However the noise created by other guests on my floor was only to get worse on second night of my stay. Doors being banged throughout the night, loud knocking on doors and speaking in loud voices throughout the night. 10pm, 11pm 1230am, 2am and 430am. a solo female traveller I could not risk stepping out of my room to see what was going on and in the middle of the night when one is trying to salvage sleep calling reception was not an option. and frankly I was already so tired and had been disturbed so much I knew the next day was going to be extremely difficult for me. Whist the rooms were clean and practical the hard finishes to floors walls etc does nothing to soften the sound of other guests. The automatic door closures whilst I understand are necessary - some kind of signage to alert guests to the fact that slamming the doors disturbs other guests. Very young staff throughout my stay did not inspire confidence in having the skills to manage a rowdy set of guests. overall ruined my trip staying at your hotel.
