Reception area had a strong smell (not an unpleasant smell possibly cleaning products) this smell set off a migraine. There was a problem with the air-conditioning not working, however I was promptly changed to another room without any drama.

Checking the gentleman was not interested and was more worried about his TV program.

As the person who checked you in and the manager on duty I truly apologies that your perception of me was that my focus was on a TV that is located behind reception in the bar area and not on the guests in front of me.
