Our stay was fine as this was a returning annual vacation. We stayed here last year the same time as well with out any problems, The staff and the chamber maids were fantastic, However I am very disappointed with how the reception could not fulfill my request for a late checkout as we have a late flight. They were able to do it last year but chose not to this year, We have spent over $10,000 with in our stays over the last two years,, The best they could offer was a 1pm checkout instead of the 12pm checkout.. We were told that there we would have 2 complimentary drinks upon arrival but they were never offered. We stayed at the Indigo resort 3 years ago and decided upon a recommendation to try the Grand Mercure, however we won’T. be returning next year..

Comfortable, many kids activity, food and breakfast are delicious, but the water turns yellow during my stay when switch to hot water , bathtub filled with sands and the water is turn into yellow , already ask the receptionist but still dirty water .

Thank you for upgrading us to suite; however, the room was really not cleaned and had a weird smell in the room. And not to mentioned that your international payment system had issues. You only notified me the payment issue by email one night prior. And before that email, there was a confirmation email, so of course we would thought it was a scam. And then when we checked in, your receptionist was not really explaining well enough so we did spent a long time to check in. General says that the room was old that the wall even started peeling. I will not stay there again. I will stay somewhere else better with the same price.

Overall good experience. Well located in a convenient but relatively quiet area between Legian and Seminyak. Hotel was clean, well equipped, and very good value for money. Only issue is if you select "pay at hotel on check in" the hotel will randomly force you to pay one night up front several weeks before check in, using a very suspicious looking link, under the threat of cancelling your entire booking if you don't. I was really worried that this was a scam. Thankfully it wasn't a scam and was legitimate. But this experience with the hotel not honouring the terms of booking and threatening to cancel my booking left a sour taste on what was otherwise an amazing stay. Hotel rates need to be updated to advise guests that this should be expected.

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Mercure Bali\! The friendly, helpful staff made us feel very welcome\. Our spacious, comfortable room was serviced daily, and the location was perfect—right across from the beach and close to great restaurants\. Breakfast was amazing, with plenty of choice and a fantastic crepe station\! The huge, relaxing pool was perfect for unwinding\.

Extremely satisfied. Excellent customer service from lobby staff. Stayed in King Deluxe Room (view not ideal as looking onto an incomplete hotel construction). Lovely clean spacious room and decor. Bed extremely comfortable. Prompt room service and housekeeping delivered a hair dryer upon request. I would highly recommend this hotel.
