When i asked for early checkin, i was asked for 1000 baht, which was too costly compared to other Hotels, the location outside the Hotel was pretty shabby, the support staff i interacted were not warm or friendly, which makes the experience pretty bad, once you have had a long overnight flights. Furniture and decor is not comfotable enough, there does not seem enough warmth to the place. The room service food was good.

I stayed at the ibis Styles Bangkok Sukhumvit Phra Khanong for a brief business trip. If you are looking for a basic, affordable base to sleep, work, and drop off your bags, it gets the job done without any unnecessary fluff. ⚬ Location: The hotel is about a 7-minute walk to the Phra Khanong BTS station, making getting around the Sukhumvit area straightforward. The surrounding neighborhood has plenty of street food, convenience stores, and local cafes nearby for quick meals. ⚬ Facilities & Amenities: As expected from the ibis brand, facilities are bare minimum. The rooms are compact and functional, offering decent Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and a functional desk area for working. ⚬ Service: Check-in and check-out were fast and hassle-free. Staff were polite and efficient. A solid, clean choice if your primary goal is utility and budget, but not the right pick if you are looking for a resort-style experience or expansive amenities.

I stayed at ibis Styles Phra Khanong, and the location was very convenient for accessing the BTS Skytrain. The room was good and comfortable; however, the air conditioning was not cold enough, even when I set the temperature to 23°C. I stayed in room 2012, so I hope the hotel can check and fix the air conditioning. The breakfast was served on the 7th floor and was good. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, but the air conditioning definitely needs improvement.

The ball-shaped sink was too high, so I couldn’t wash my face. I had requested a room with good drainage via message beforehand, but water tended to pool and the drain was slow. Since this is likely due to the state of Thailand’s drainage pipes as they were built, I figured there was nothing I could do about it, so I overlooked this point.

First of all, I really liked the spacious and modern room design. The room was clean and well maintained throughout my stay, and the housekeeping team did a good job. The shower also had strong and consistent water pressure. The hotel’s location is another plus, with a 7-Eleven right next door and the BTS station less than a 10 minute walk away, making it very convenient for getting around. As an ALL Accor Gold member, I appreciate the benefits extended to members. During my stay at Ibis Prakanong Bangkok , I requested a late check-out at the front desk on my second day, and the lady assisting me kindly offered a 4pm check out. The following day, I approached the front desk to reactivate my key card and also confirm that the late check-out had been noted in the system. A male staff member checked the system and initially informed me that, due to high occupancy, I could only stay until 2pm. When I mentioned that I had already been granted a 4pm check out, he simply replied in a quick response, “Ok, ok.” Unfortunately, on the day of departure, I received a call at 1pm asking whether I was checking out as my check-out time was due. This was rather disappointing, as I would have expected the late check-out arrangement to be properly recorded and communicated among the front desk team. It suggests there may be some gaps in internal communication and the checking of guest profiles. Hopefully, the team can improve communication and guest profile coordination. On a positive note, the lady with glasses who assisted me when I checked out was very friendly, polite and greeted me warmly with a wai gesture. Her pleasant attitude was much appreciated.

7-11 is near the hotel so it's convenient to buy something. l am not satisfied with the reception because they work a bit slowly, l wait a long time about the check-in and check-out procedures.
