Came for one night, but have stayed before. We have four kids and everyone is lovely towards us. This is a real family friendly hotel. Rooms are spacious and the price is fair. The Mexican restaurant onsite is ACTUALLY delicious and authentic— which is hard to find. The waiter, Mike, was really wonderful. My only complaint is that one of the lady staff around the pool who was dressed as a housekeeper approached a guest with a crying child. She was motioning that the toddler was crying and that she needed to make her stop crying. It was a very awkward moment. The poor mother seemed to feel uncomfortable about her child crying, and as a mother of four children, I also felt uncomfortable because this staff overstepped and told a mother how to care for her child. I spoke with the staff lady and confirmed that she had told the lady to help her baby stop crying because the crying was crazy. To me, the crying was normal and the children were just being children. I think that is not a good thing for a staff member to do. The guest actually left the pool directly after this and went to her room, presumably because she felt uncomfortable about her child having normal child behavior. However, no other staff ever even remotely acted this way— it seemed to be that it was only this staff lady that would act that way.
