The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the Insadong area. So many shops snd restaurants on the we doorstep and convenient for the subways as well. Rooms are well equipped and the breakfast has continental and local meal options and set us up wonderfully for each day. Highly recommended.

Location is near subway and a lot of great food (lunch + dinner) around. Breakfast is so-so. But the hotel only have central heating that's not set to cooler temp at night during summer.

Great location, great front desk staff. Room however was small and smelled like sewage all day. I don’t think the bathroom area was renovated since the shower had mold stains, in addition to the foul odor which permeated the tiny room space.

overall is nice and comfortable. Thanks the staff for answering my questions. Bathroom need renovated, maybe the hair dryer and pipes too. Spotted some tiny stains on quilt sheet or dust on wall.

The hotel enjoys a convenient location and our room was clean and tidy. Most of our stay was pleasant, yet an incident on our check‑out day significantly spoiled our experience. After checking out, we wished to use the restroom on the ground floor and asked the front desk for the access code. A male staff member responded rudely in Chinese with just two words: “Mei You”. It was in Seoul, and why he immediately replied to us without first verifying whether we were hotel guests. A more important thing was, why he REPLIED IN CHINESE? This left us feeling discriminated against. We fully understand that the lobby restroom may not be accessible to the public. However, he did not check our guest status nor offer any explanation for the refusal. This brusque response made us feel upset, and we raised our complaint on the spot. Fortunately, the assistant manager stepped in and comforted us. We sincerely hope the hotel can provide further service training especially for that front‑line staff. Even if a request cannot be granted, a polite explanation and proper tone are expected to avoid making guests feel dismissed.

I stayed twice in August 2026 & enjoyed both my stay. Hotel met my request of a room at higher floor & away from lift. The hotel attracted me as it is walking distance to main attractions like the Palaces, Bukchon Hanok Village & Insadong Cultural street.

Overall was ok however the bed matress is i need of a replacement, the center has sunk.

We chose this Accor Hotel because we wanted to stay in Jongno 3 ga close to the Hanok village. The hotel is good , the staff very professional . Room was very comfortable with very good beds, bathroom, as in all IBIS, not exceptional. We were welcomed as Gold Members and got Room 1010 - with absolutely no view , very disappointed ! Location of Hotel is perfect near Hanok village . We will definitely stay here again, but I will insist for a room with a view.
