I have been to this same location for past 5 plus years. It is located in a great spot and people were very friendly. This year, I have to say the rooms we had smelled musty and spotted big centipedes and spiders. I also feel bathroom needed little touch up as well. I usually felt everybody was friendly until this year. The vibe was not at all personable and friendly. I love the location and since I have been there every time we go there, I want this place to be my home away from home whenever I visit Korea. Hope things will be better next time I visit ibis hotel.

The facility was wonderful and the location was perfect for a first time international solo traveler. The helpful video to get to the subway station was literally a life saver. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Around 1am on our final night there, we heard people in the next room to ours (I think) partying. It sounded like there were 5-6 people (male and female), and they constantly made loud noises, banging something on a wall or floor, shouting. When it was too much, we tried to tell it to the front desk, but no one answered the call. We were too tired to actually go down to the 1st floor, so we reluctantly gave up. Until then I thought it was a nice hotel with good location, but that experience was really disappointing.

While we are glad to hear that you initially found our hotel’s location convenient, we are sincerely sorry that your final night was disrupted by noise from a neighboring room. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused by the loud gathering you described. Such behavior is strictly against our hotel policies, and we fully understand how frustrating it must have been, especially during late hours when you were trying to rest. We are also very sorry that your call to the front desk was not answered. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, and we take your feedback very seriously. We have shared this issue with our night shift team and management to ensure that all calls are promptly responded to and that proper monitoring is maintained throughout the night. Had we been aware of the situation at that moment, we would have taken immediate action by contacting the room involved or offering you an alternative solution. Please rest assured that we are reinforcing our procedures to prevent a similar situation from happening again.
