Great location and rooms

Location wise, this hotel is great. Very near to Insadong culture street, Changdeokgung palace, and many more. As my Korean friend put it, Insadong, and by extension this hotel, is great location for exploring the metropolitan and traditional Korea. As regards the room, I asked on the first night to be transferred since the heater was making noise, and they graciously and quickly did it. The room is quite spacious and there’s still a lot of space even if I brought two luggages (1 large and 1 carry on).

The hotel is in a very good location with many things to do or see within walking distance. There are plenty of places to eat around the area so its easy to wing it while you stay here. The breakfast was very average, so we ended up exploring bakeries nearby even though our breakfast was included in our stay. The hotel staff are very accommodating, the rooms are well sized (small bathrooms however), although the rooms were very warm given they only turn the AC on when the temperature outside hits a certain number.

You stay at this place for the location. It is right in the thick of classic alley ways filled with tea houses, galleries and restaurants. It was the perfect introduction to South Korea. In addition, it was close to a main train station and bus stops which made travelling Seoul and easy task.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel . Well located with numerous food options in the area directly across from the hotel . Easy walk to subway , insadong shopping area and palaces . Loved the hot bath / sauna in the basement which was segregated . Perfect after an early winters day sightseeing .
