We stayed for 12 night in a club executive room. Service in the lounge from check in and through hour the daily presentations was excellent. Emma and Daniel in particular looked after us very well. Breakfast, afternoon tea and evening “happy hour” all of a high standard. Chefs and service crew doing a great job. Evening lounge offering very good. You can eat a full dinner should you wish, not just drinks and canapés. Other hotel facilities as you would expect from a 5 star venue. Gym and Korean sauna excellent. Lobby cafe perfect for business meetings. Room very comfortable. No service issues whatsoever, as described by some other guests in their own reviews. Good location close to the metro and within walking distance of other popular areas north of the river. Thanks again to Daniel and the club team for their daily assistance and arranging some little extras which make a difference to the enjoyment of our trip. We would definitely stay here again.

We staying at Pullman hotel for 8 days, two mornings the cleaning was not 100% but we lived with that. Breakfast very good, and we have a good start of everyday exploring Seoul.

Just a forewarning... I have a feeling that I'm about to leave an essay! I gave this hotel three stars on the website/app where I booked it, but it doesn't even show up! So, here I am... all bitter and giving them a ONE star *which they don't really deserve, tbh* but hear me out! The hotel itself was absolutely great! I loved the location, the room, the views (from both sides of the building in the executive lounge on the 18th floor), the fact that it offered free parking (I was surprised at the number of hotels that did not around this part of Seoul). But I hope they train their staff better because at the end of my stay, I left wondering whether they hire part-timers for weekends to cut down on costs...??? When I checked in, the person who assisted me asked whether I preferred the city view or the Namsan Mountain (N Seoul Tower) view. I replied that I'd like the latter and he said that the only room available was on the 18th floor and that it'd be slightly noisy since it's next to the executive lounge. I thought it'd be fine because we (my boyfriend and I) weren't planning on staying in our room most of the time. Well... after finishing our afternoon tea, my boyfriend and I went into our room, and he --  not knowing that I had asked for the Namsan Mountain view and that had been the reason we were assigned to the 18th floor -- plopped onto the bed... and then I realized that we actually had the city view. I just brushed it off thinking, 'Well, we are all human~ we all make mistakes... and plus, [my boyfriend] just sat on the bed, so there's no point complaining!' Then, past 11 p.m., I had to go to the front desk to ask something. There was just one person working there, but she was taking a call. I stood there for a good couple of? a few? minutes. And all I wanted from her was some kind of acknowledgment? Like, a gentle nod or her mouthing the words, "I'll be right with you (in Korean)"? I didn't want to waste any more of my time, so I left. The next morning... at around 6 a.m., I woke up to the sound of plates breaking... and then the staff cleaning them off the floor... and rolling their carts? (I should've just switched rooms... If you don't want to be woken up at 6 a.m., say NO to the 18th floor! I'm sure they don't break plates every morning, but it is a possibility and you might be next!) And then breakfast time came... I was simply asked to wait because the lounge was full. Then, when two other parties of guests came, the same staff member asked them for their room numbers and jotted them down. "Ummm? Excuse me? I was here first, but you didn't ask me for my room number?" ....... and then he singled me out and asked me whether I'd like to go to the "King's? Lounge" (which is on the first floor without any views... and for guests of rooms of a different class. If I hadn't done any research beforehand, I would've thought he was upgrading me!) as if he was doing me a favor. That honestly made me put my hands up in the air and tell myself, 'I may be lazy, but I am going to write a *scathing* review!' I don't know... I've worked in the service industry in my younger years, so I'm quite understanding or at least I try to be! But when you experience a series of such things... you kind of wonder, 'Is this really a 5-star hotel?' It's highly likely that most guests don't experience any of this and some may have just a couple of bad experiences that they can brush off, which I tried to do and did for the first couple of times. And some may even think what I experienced was nothing... Honestly, I want to recommend this hotel. It's good value for money. It was a little over 600,000 won (approx. 435 US dollars) per night on a Saturday, but it was pretty much an all-inclusive package! So, note to the hotel: make sure your front desk staff know exactly which rooms have which views and that they acknowledge people who are waiting for their assistance; and make sure your staff treat everyone fairly and equally instead of feeling like they are singled out. 리뷰 잘 안남기는 1인인데... (너~~~~무 좋았던거 아니면 귀찮...) 이번엔 제가 느낀 점 꼭 개선 됐으면 좋겠어서 리뷰 남깁니다. 남친 생일이라 호캉스로 11월 9일 토요일로 예약하게 된 호텔입니다. 호텔 잡기 전 신라호텔 레스토랑에 예약을 먼저 하게 되어 근접하고 주차장이 있는 5성급 호텔 위주로 봤어요. 신라호텔은 객실 예약 마감이었거든요 ㅜ. 모든게 맞아 떨어져서 예약하게 된 앰배서더 서울 풀만호텔! 호텔 자체는 마음에 들었습니다. 방 자체도 좋고 전 Executive 로 예약해서 18층 라운지에서 본 뷰도 매우 아름다웠어요. 하지만... 체크인 할 당시 직원분이 제게 물어보시더라고요. 남산뷰와 시내뷰 중 뭘 선호하시냐고요. 남산뷰라고 답하니, 18층 밖에 안남았는데 (늦은 시간에 도착하지 않았고 2:10쯤 도착해서 기다리다가 체크인) 18층은 라운지가 있는 층이라 살짝 소음이 있다고 그래도 괜찮으시겠냐고 물어보셔서 18층으로 방을 배정 받았습니다. 이를 모르는 저보다 조금 늦게 도착한 제 남자친구는 애프터눈 티(체크인 할 때 사람이 많아서 그냥 대기할 때 주심)를 다 먹고 저희 방으로 들어 갔을 때 바로 침대에 앉았어요. 근데 확인해보니 남산뷰가 아닌 시내뷰 방이었습니다... 근데 벌써 방안에 신발 신고 들어왔고 침대에 앉았는데... 컴플레인 걸고 싶진 않아서 그냥 넘어갔습니다. 밤 11:30경 1층 프론트 데스크에 여직원 한분만 계셨어요. 통화 중이셨는데 여쭤볼게 있어서 기다렸습니다. 앞에 계속 서있었는데 아무런 반응이 없으시더라고요... 제가 거기서 기다리고 있다는 걸 인지했다는 표현을 하셔야 하는 거 아닌가요?... 눈이라도 마주치거나... 조용히 입모양으로라도 '잠시만요'라던지... 무작정 기다릴 수 없어서 포기했습니다... 새벽 6시에 그릇 몇 개가 깨지는 소리에 깼습니다. 그리고 그걸 또 청소하는 소리까지... 압니다. 매일 그릇을 깨트리시진 않겠죠. 하지만 원치 않은 시티뷰를 위해 18층에서 자서! 컴플레인을 안하고 그냥 좋게좋게 넘어가자한 걸 그 때 조금 후회했습니다... ㅜㅜ 조식 먹을 시간이 되어 라운지로 향했습니다. 남자직원분이 저보고 지금 라운지가 만석이라고 앉아서 대기 하라고 하시더군요. 그래서 기다렸어요... 근데 제 뒤에 두팀이 오니 객실번호를 여쭤보시고 적어받으시더라고요. "저기... 제 객실번호는 안물어보셨는데요?"라고 하니 그제서야 받아적으시고... 그 다음 제게만! 제게만! 여긴 만석이니 킹스 라운지 (executive class 아닌 객실 고객들을 위한 1층 라운지)로 가시는 건 어떠시냐고 하더라고요... 솔직히 이전에 제가 검색 좀 해보지 않았다면 "오~ 우리 기다리지 말라고 그러시는 구나~"라고 생각하면서 감사해 했을 것 같네요...... 이 사건, 상황들을 개별적으로 보면 뭐 별 거 아닌데 할 수 있어요. 저도 처음엔 그랬거든요. 그래. 인간이니까 누구나 실수할 수 있어... 뭐 그럴수도 있지...였는데. 하나 둘 씩 쌓이고 보니... 여기 5성급 호텔 맞아?라는 의문이 들더라고요. 주말엔 바빠서 알바쓰나?라는 생각도 들었어요. 가성비는 좋은 호텔이라 (토요일에 executive king 608,000원이었습니다) 그 부분에서는 추천드리고 싶습니다. 이 긴 글 끝에 호텔측에 요청드리고 싶은 건... 5성급 호텔에 걸맞게 직원 교육에 더 힘써 주시길 바랍니다.
