Checking in with Daisy was definitely one of the most pleasant experiences at Pullman Ambassador. Within 2 days, my girlfriend and I had a great time at Pullman. The swimming pool was fun, the sauna was relaxing, and the room that Daisy offered was cozy and had a great view of Namsan. We abruptly decided to had lunch at the Buffet restaurant located on the first floor after the check-out. We couldn't make reservation, and unfortunately, even though there were couple of tables empty on the window side, the manager said the entire area is only for booked customers. Other than that, Pullman Ambassador is fine to visit for couples who are planning for their special date 😀 Daisy 님 감사했어요!! 호캉스로 추천!!

I have been using Accor hotels most of the time for both business and leisure travels, and have been an ALL Platinum members for many years. This is my first time trying out this hotel due to its relatively shorter distance to commute to the local office, and I have read mix reviews about this hotel prior to my reservation but still decided to proceed. This is also the first time at an Accor Hotel that I had almost all my requests (which I consider reasonable as I did not face rejections from other Accor Hotels before, especially for hotels in Seoul) rejected until I almost want to just switch to another hotel during my first night stay, and list out of unpleasant experience below. Booked a superior room and wrote in to request for bigger room upgrade (premium executive room) and late check-out at 2pm 3 days prior to my arrival - response was noted my requests, but really not possible to accommodate. Upon check-in at Lobby Reception, was told room upgrade provided at higher floor but same room size, and late check-out even at 1pm also not possible; staff took me up to L18 executive lounge to do check-in instead. Again, told me impossible to give me Premium Executive Room upgrade, but ok will grant me late check-out until 1pm. I have to tell the staff why did I need to ask for 3 times for late check-out at 1pm before it was finally granted ? Staff kept apologizing. Apparently staff also did not do the deposit process correctly, which later another staff had to approach me again to ask for my credit card to do another round of deposit. On 1st night evening, went down to B2 for sauna, was told I need to pay; WOW... for the first time in my hotel stay experience (with or without privilege membership) - I need to pay for sauna facilities in a hotel - is this normal ? Went up to L18 and clarify, told me because I booked a Superior Room that's why I need to pay for sauna; at this time I was really furious, it looks like the Accor Platinum membership means nothing to your hotel. Fine - I just told the staff I will check-out from the hotel tomorrow if it was just too much to ask for anything. Staff kept apologizing and said will get his manager to contact me immediately. I was later on the way back to my room, and was approached by the hotel manager, Mr Owen Yang. He listened carefully to all my feedback, and apologized again and granted me access to sauna, and also trying very hard to find me a Premium Executive Room but unfortunately no availability as I am staying for almost whole week, I told him I understand and I was not really insisting it if it is really unavailable. I thanked him for provided timely response to me, also shared with him that I literally have no issue in getting a much bigger room upgrade (suite) and late check-out with another Accor hotel that I regularly stay whenever I travel to Seoul on interval of every 2~3 months, and this is the first time I am asked to pay for sauna facilities within the hotel premise. On Friday morning I called and had housekeeping to pick-up my clothing for laundry service at around 8:30am; as the laundry form indicated, laundry sent before 12pm will be returned on the same day. On the same night when I reached hotel almost midnight, I was surprised to find that my clothing had not yet been returned. Called up the service line and could hear a very tiring or sleeping voice, said will immediately send back my clothing which they did. After check-out on Saturday, while I was still chilling out at the L1 Bar and waiting to get a taxi to Airport, received call from hotel that they forget to charge my card for the laundry services, and asked if they can charge to my card again, which I told them I am still at the lobby and I proceeded to make another payment for the laundry charges. To be fair to your hotel staffs, they are polite and trying to be helpful, I also praise them for standing firm with your hotel policies to not giving in (my assumption) to additional requests by guests easily, although I think they probably lack of training in performing their routine work correctly. I also want to praise Mr Owen Yang for his professionalism in at least listened to my feedback and trying to help. For this I gave an overall score of 4 instead of 0 due to your staffs professionalism, at least. Please review your hotel policy if it is really your stance to differentiate paying guests versus privilege guests, by turning down all additional requests that is out of your operating norm regardless if the guests hold a privilege status. I will write to Accor Plus Customer Service separately to provide my feedback and to ask them what is the value in it for me to continue my ALL privilege membership in addition to paying additional yearly fees for Accor Plus Platinum membership. It seems customer loyalty means nothing to your hotel. As I expressed my dissatisfaction in my reply to your staff's response on my first email in requesting for bigger room upgrade and late check-out, I commented that I hope this will not be my first and also my last stay in this hotel. However, based on the unpleasant experiences faced, this is indeed likely to be my first and last stay at your hotel as well, if the time factor to commute to local office is not in my considerations. The service at this hotel is excellent. The staff are very attentive and cordial. They do their best to accommodate every request. The breakfast and dinner buffets are delicious, fresh and have a large variety of options. Highly recommended!
