We stayed at the Pullman Ambassador Hotel from 24–25 May and would like to share feedback regarding our experience. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room appeared to be faulty. Despite adjusting the thermostat to 20°C and subsequently 18°C, the room temperature remained at approximately 23.5°C, which made it difficult to fall and remain asleep. There was also a mosquito biting us in the room. At around 2am, we contacted the concierge for assistance and subsequently waited approximately 15 minutes for the engineering team to arrive. After the air-conditioning filter was changed, the temperature improved thereafter but still took hours to cool down, suggesting there had indeed been an issue with the system. While we appreciate the overnight assistance provided by your staff, we were disappointed by the experience, particularly as a comfortable night’s rest is one of the key expectations when booking a 5-star accommodation. We raised the matter during checkout the following morning and were offered complimentary drinks during our return stay from 29–31 May, which we appreciated. However, given the disruption to our rest and overall stay experience, we felt the resolution offered did not fully reflect the inconvenience caused. We sincerely hope to avoid a repeat of this experience at our next stay and would appreciate if the room’s air conditioning could be checked in advance. We would also be grateful if the hotel could consider extending a gesture of goodwill, such as a complimentary breakfast or a similar arrangement, in light of the previous stay experience. Lovely hotel overall and great amenities but was let down by poor housekeeping. E.g. cherries provided as gift on arrival not cleared and left rotting for multiple days even when requested to be cleaned. Also a couple of staff members made me feel uncomfortable

The front desk has been helpful every time and went above and beyond every time. The concierge also took their time to go through every step for us especially as it was our first time in Korea so we had no idea which app was better for cabs and which areas were better for breakfast etc.
