The room was a good size and the hotel was well located. However, reception was cold, bordering on rude. I had checked in online but still had to wait around 15 minutes to get keys. No welcome or acknowledgement of Accor Gold Status, room not serviced despite displaying "please service my room" sign. When I asked about it I was told it was too late and that I needed to let them know if I wanted housekeeping service! Breakfast staff were a very welcome contrast to reception - friendly, helpful and warm. WiFi was absolutely woeful - slow, erratic and frustrating. Overall, not the experience I expect from an Accor hotel.

Comfortable room and breakfast was OK (except for the coffee). Fine parking space but it will cost you. V-Pay seemed out of order (cash only) but the next morning they told another story

Great stay, although we asked for a family suite and the linens for the pull out were not already in the room. Otherwise the room was very comfortable and well located within the city.

Hotel was only 20% or less occupied, as All Allcore member was given the worst room facing a noisy alley with metal trash bins. The room had a light I could not turn off. The curtain was unhooked and light came in from the lit alley. One of the switches crackled indicating a short. No cups of any kind in the room. I had asked in email to assure the room has no lingering smoke as I am very sensitive. I got a response about their non-smoking policy. I have encountered this issue in other non-smoking hotels in Germany. Yet, the smell was there and strong. There are restaurants on the lower floor and people tend to smoke at least outside. The AC was pulling smoke into the room. I could also smell this in the breakfast room. I sent an email with no response. Tried to talk to the front desk thought the might offer me another room. All I got was a blank stare, no apology or empathy. The attitude was “ I don’t care. I just work here”. I was not able to deal with this so I left without using my second night and moved to a cheaper much nicer hotel. My warning: don’t even bother with In styles Trier.

this time we got a noisy room on 1st floor, with engine running the whole night, even noisy with windows closed. furthermore, we had a corresponding door to neighbours, so bo real isolation

My stay cost €60 per night, and I only stayed for one day, as my reservation was made through the hotel's internal program for family and friends. The hotel charged €220 to my card without any justification, and to this day they have not responded to my inquiries or refunded the excess amount. I have stayed at many hotels around the world with my family, and I have only had problems at this hotel. I do not recommend it to anyone.

There was a lot of other people's hair in my room, even after requested cleaning. In coffee corner usually 3rd or 4th mug was clean. I've asked for an invoice 6 times until I receive it. Receptionists were not helpful (except one man) and forgot to register the room cleaning request, did not bring the ironing board within an hour.

A lovely hotel with friendly staff and everything you need for a short stay in Trier. Very spacious but functional rooms, good extensive breakfast, but can be crowded and cramped in high season. Great location, right in the city centre.
