We recently stayed here for two nights on our France/Spain "road-trip" and I am left wondering as to whether it was a good choice. The room was fine, almost, a little small but we got what we expected. The bed was comfortable, but only one chair for a two person room was a little short-sighted. Unlike some Ibis hotels there was no tea/coffee making facilities and being on the 6th floor, collecting from the reception area was a non starter. Being experienced travellers we know what to expect, so we bring our own kettle, tea, coffee etc. There was a bottle of water upon arrival and a couple of glasses, but these were removed during the first room make down service and not replaced. The door to the terrace was not possible to close, the locking furniture on the door frame had been physically removed...this was a "complete surprise" to the reception staff upon reporting, yea, yea, yea. Regarding the terrace, upon exiting the room, to the left a 2.5 metre wall, ahead, a 5 metre wall and to the right a 1.5 metre wall, so just able to see the advertised "city view" which was the corner of another building. I do now understand the strange description quoted from the web page for the room "a private terrace to enjoy the Barcelona sky" for that is all one could see, true but very dis-ingenuous. Breakfast was an OK affair, a good choice for fare, some hot, but mostly cold, ham, cheese, pastries, etc. The downside of the breakfast room position was the fact that was a place packed with people awaiting their coach to somewhere and making a tremendous noise, with no apparent care from the hotel staff. The hotel is well positioned, within easy reach of Metro Line 4 and bus lines. It is situated close enough to the city centre to be walkable, even for a 70+ year old. It was about 10 mins from the beach and 30 mins from a local Basilica of note. We did find that we had to travel a little distance to find decent restaurants, that said there was a very good Viet 'street food' place on a corner nearby. Would we stay again? Possibly, but with much thought.

No coffee or tea in room which in other’s hotel that we stayed in on other cities paying much lower rate have.

We stayed for 5 nights. The hotel was spotlessly clean, rooms comfortable and serviced daily. The food was good and reasonably priced. 2 min walk to the nearest metro with great links all over the area, easy 10 min walk to the beach and shopping area. The team were super helpful and friendly. The rooftop pool and bar area is a real bonus. If you're looking to explore Barcelona and the surrounding area but don't want to be in the noise of the city centre this is perfect. We were visiting for sightseeing in the city and the MotoGP in Montmelo and found everything we needed. Huge thanks to everyone who made our stay so great.

O most certainly rate a 10/10 the breakfast, for just 12 Eur you had different varieties of things to try, different varieties of milk and yoghurt (non lactose for example). The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable.
