I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. The staff were very friendly, helpful and were very knowledgeable. Air conditioning in my room was very welcomed too as this meant I had a very good sleep at night.

The hotel is well located between two tube stations in a quite district but 10mins to the centre. The rooms are clean comfortable and big for 1 adult and 2 children. The children enjoyed the table tennis and table football in reception. There was a huge choice of fresh food at breakfast to suit all tastes. We also ate in there at lunchtime one day and the pizza and salads were delicious and great value for money. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend as great value for money.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. I booked a room with 7 nights at a approx. rate of €150 - €170 per night, expecting a level of comfort and service commensurate with that price. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of any reasonable standard, and I feel the accommodation had more in common with a basic hostel than a hotel with Stars in that price range. Specifically, the following issues made my stay extremely disappointing: - **No refrigerator** in the room, despite the sweltering heat in Barcelona. Most critically, **no freezer access** for residents. Given that Barcelona’s weather is extremely hot, it is unacceptable that I could not make cold water or keep anything chilled. This made every day unbearable. - **No soft tissues** or **rubbish bin** provided in the bedroom. - **Unwillingness of staff** to assist in freezing food for me, a simple request that any mid-range hotel should accommodate. - **No ironing board** in the room; the iron had to be borrowed from the front desk, which was inconvenient. - The **shower partition** was installed at the top of the bathtub is very traditional old installation. - drinking water only supplied first night at the remainder of my stay, For high price per night, these conditions are inexcusable. I expected a comfortable, well‑equipped room with professional service. Instead, I encountered a lack of basic amenities and a general unwillingness to help.

We would like to clarify that Ibis hotels do not provide refrigerators in guest rooms. However, we understand the importance of having access to cold drinking water, which is available free of charge 24 hours a day and can be requested at the bar or reception at any time. Regarding the room amenities, facial tissues are not part of our standard room equipment but the waste bin is located in the bathroom area in all our rooms. Concerning your request to freeze food, we regret any inconvenience caused. For health and safety reasons, we are unable to store food brought from outside the hotel in our refrigerators or freezers. The only exception is for medications requiring refrigeration. We are also sorry for any misunderstanding regarding the drinking water provided on arrival. As mentioned above, guests may request or refill drinking water at reception 24 hours a day. As a 2-star hotel, the facilities and services we offer are in line with our category standards. Nevertheless, we sincerely regret that we were unable to meet your expectations and appreciate your comments, as they help us improve our service. Best regards, Ibis Plaza Glories 22@
