Room was adequate for a two-star hotel. Clean bed and had the basics - towel, shampoo/soap (from front desk), and decent wi-fi. Short walk from metro, beach, and key attractions. TV had no signal once in awhile and a couple of lights in the room did not work. Front desk was helpful - Nora in particular - and provided prompt assistance. Front desk also stayed up and waited for us to check in around midnight.

Housekeeping was extremely poor and inconsistent. One day we will be missing bath mats and another day missing bath towels. The bedsheet smelled really bad and used. Our request to change the sheets were not fulfilled. No extra hangers either. The street next to the hotel was under construction and was very noisy and dirty. They put us in a room on second floor right next to it! We had to request for a room change due to the noise. On the last day we ordered a taxi to the airport and was only told the taxi cancelled after 15 mins of waiting. 1/10 for friendly reception desk or else I would rate 0. With the amount we paid per night there are definitely better hotels in Barcelona. Worst hotel experience and won’t be returning.

The day before i already email hotel that i will arrive in the morning. They response that early check in subject to availability. Its fine for me. I arrived in the hotel and its full booked. The front desk told me that i can keep my luggages and come back ard 12 pm. When i came to her. She already know and acknowledge my request from email. Unfortunately full booked and she cant accomodate my request. Its fine and i can understand 1230 pm i came back to hotel and serve by another front desk. She insist to me that check in time 2 pm and its full book, so i should wait until 2 pm. I told her that pls check my reservations ( so she will know my platinum status and eligible for early check in) . She quick check and told me that i should wait. I insist that the lady in the morning told me that i can come back ard 12 pm. But she still insist need to wait 2 pm. Check in time is 2 pm. As platinum member , I'm unhappy with this kind of response. But i cant make a noise so i'm waiting in the sofa near the front desk. Ard 5 min later, there is another guest came and directly they can get their room. I'm really unhappy and i complain to the front desk why they can get room and i cant. As platinum member i should get priority. Is this how your hotel treat platinum member? She insist that my room not ready and while complain there is HT communicatiin in spanish that i dont understand. She told to me that she just got update that my room just ready. She said everything is allocate by system . So i need to wait until my room ready. The other guest l, their room is ready. So they can got the room. In my opinion 1. She can do better to accomodate loyal customer specially platinum member 2. I believe there is something that she can do to re arrange the room allocation. Yes. Its auto room allocation by system but there is a human that manage and control the system

Primary problem was parking ramps and parking spots too narrow which triggered a cascade of parking problems. Secondary problem was crowds of adolescents taking over the common spaces, but that can be expected from traveling teenagers. Lack of desk and sitting (small room) forced us to use computer at a nearby facility. The staff was very good at solving problems.

I visited Ibis Barcelona Glories 22 in January and decided to return on this trip. I stayed from 1 April to 5 April. I stayed in a well-furnished, well-lit room. The bathroom was modern and efficient. It was cleanly daily. I found the hotel to be in a nice neighborhood near the Westfield Glories mall, Barcelona’s beaches, local cafes, and varied restaurants. I recommend this hotel for its rooms, location, and value.

Excellent location, good rooms and the people very nice. I went with my family and I booked 2 rooms and they gave us two rooms one in front of each other. The people were really nice, very helpful and the location of the hotel was really good, close to the metro station, tram or bus which take you to the city centre. Besides, 4 blocks to the glories mall which has every service.

Enjoyed a few nights at the Ibis Glories in Barcelona. Located close to all transport and the trendy Poblenou district and with really comfortable beds. We were brilliantly looked after by the friendly, helpful staff, especially Silvia and Joan.

We traveled with a 3yo, and the hotel was very well localized. Within a radius of a couple hundred meters, there were 3 playgrounds. The hotel is 5 min walk to Glories centre, where there are many different shops and restaurants. It is also close (10 min) walk to metro station. The people working at the hotel were always very helpful and friendly.

This Ibis hotel was spartan as one could expect from Ibis but OK. However the view from the rear of the room was disappointing. There was a metro station within walking distance and the neighbourhood was quiet.

This area of Barcelona is undergoing a renaissance. Pretty standard Ibis rooms but the reception area and bar have been upgraded and extended. Has proper air conditioning unlike many European hotels. Glories shopping centre about 8 to 10 minute walk. Interesting area of Ramblas de Poblenou about 10 minutes walk with many cafes and bars. Staff were helpful, and thanks to Roberto in helping us to use points to pay for our stay.
