Room was adequate for a two-star hotel. Clean bed and had the basics - towel, shampoo/soap (from front desk), and decent wi-fi. Short walk from metro, beach, and key attractions. TV had no signal once in awhile and a couple of lights in the room did not work. Front desk was helpful - Nora in particular - and provided prompt assistance. Front desk also stayed up and waited for us to check in around midnight.

Housekeeping was extremely poor and inconsistent. One day we will be missing bath mats and another day missing bath towels. The bedsheet smelled really bad and used. Our request to change the sheets were not fulfilled. No extra hangers either. The street next to the hotel was under construction and was very noisy and dirty. They put us in a room on second floor right next to it! We had to request for a room change due to the noise. On the last day we ordered a taxi to the airport and was only told the taxi cancelled after 15 mins of waiting. 1/10 for friendly reception desk or else I would rate 0. With the amount we paid per night there are definitely better hotels in Barcelona. Worst hotel experience and won’t be returning.
