What a wonderful experience we had! Rooms are super clean and beautifully decorated, very comfortable and spacious. We received an upgrade and had a room with a gorgeous view overlooking the pool and the sea! Breakfast was great, many delicious options and the breakfast team was very friendly, fast and accommodating. What made the experience however truly outstanding was the phenomenal Team from Front Desk, to guest experience, concierge and bellmen! Special thanks to Misha whose recommendations made sure our evenings in Barcelona were really special, Gabriel, Rodrigo, Amadeu and Genis, oh my God Genis full of energy, humour and who provided the most anticipatory service we could have ever imagined. All the Team great! If you aren’t looking for a home away from home in Barcelona search no more, Sofitel Skipper is the place! Highly recommended!! Thank you all for a most unforgettable stay 🩷🩷

Traveling solo, I found this hotel to be perfect for my trip. The staff went out of their way to help me when my luggage was sent to Washington DC, under another person's name, and I had a LOT of difficulty getting it sent to me in Barcelona. I will describe my experience at this hotel in Pros and Cons: PROS: *I had a standard queen room with a balcony, overlooking the pool. The room was well appointed, had necessary amenities, mattress and pillows that were very comfortable, and a cabinet that had snacks, coffee/tea, etc. First class items. I felt very pampered. The room was quiet. Spotless!! *The city Hop On/Hop Off bus stops across the street from the hotel, which is very convenient for getting to city center, gothic quarter, and the Sagrada Familia. *Hotel located on the beach, but not really beach front. However, once on the beach, there are miles of beach to walk, with many beachside seafood restaurants (casual.) *Breakfast was the BEST I have had in a hotel, or cruise ship!! The price seemed high, but I found it was worth every penny! don't skip breakfast there! Plus, I did not find many places around the hotel to get a good breakfast *If you are cruising, the hotel is very close to the port. No need to pay the cruise line for a transfer, as taxis are available to take you to the ship, and less money. CONS: *The beach is not the nicest, though I was there in September, so summer may be better. *The balcony was small, and the view of the pool was extremely limited. The room was non smoking, but the balcony wasn't, had ashtrays, and smelled of cigarette smoke, even though it was outside. I think it was because it was a small balcony. *T.V. only had news stations, from around the world, but only news. *There is no on site shop for toiletries, snacks, and other small items. In fact, there was no shopping near by, at all. Since I was there with no luggage for four days, that made an impression on me. If you don't need a little shop, then it won't make any difference to you. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, and would return, or send my family there.

I have feedback earlier on. On first night, noticed water leaking from the floor above into my toilet. Sink area. Alerted hotel the next morning with video showing the leak. I requested for change of room, hotel insisted on sending a technician to review the instead of changing a new room for me However leak persisted. I felt I was neglected. Didn't want to spend unnecessary time and neglected my family holidays. Stayed for 3 nights, and suffered 3 nights of water leaking down rom ceiling. Felt unhygienic and frankly, disgusting.
