Our first time in Barcelona and Pullman skipper was a joy to stay at. Staff is very professional and accommodating and speak English as well. Whenever we are in Barcelona it will be pullman for us. Only negative is the breakfast. We stayed for 5 nights and there was no change in the breakfast menu. Rest everything was just great.

The location and lobby/bar or the hotel are great, but the rooms themselves could use some work. The bedding was very comfortable so no problem there! However, the large sliding door did not seal properly allowing in cold air and noise. In the bathroom, the bathtub was quite dented, the shower rusted, and toilet was in a tight space behind the shower. For a 5 star hotel, could be better maintained and thought out.

The room given to me at first was very nosy due to the mechanical room above. I was arriving at late night so was so tired, but had to move to the other room because of loud noise. If mechanical room is on top of the guest so there is 24/7 noise, the hotel should not provide the room to the customer. It is like you are trying your luck for an insensitive guest. Anyway, I have relocated to the other room and there was no bathtub. I have booked classic double room and there suppose to be a bathtub. I was so tired to complain and relocate the room again, so just staid there. The room was shower without doors or curtain, so you can imagine after taking shower. I don't want to mention about worn out room condition. The only but very important advantage you have provided in room was the bed and pillow. They were very comfortable and I had good rest. All staffs were friendly and helpful.

Our stay at Pullman Skipper in mid-November 2019 was great. The staff was really friendly and smiley all the time, and always prepared to help us. The breakfasts were good with a nice variety of things to eat. The room was tidy and prepared for our stay. Nevertheless, the bathroom is definitely not new and has some marks of usage. Also as the noise insulation between the rooms is at good level, but the window does not insulate the room from the noise from outside e.g. the near clubs or busy street (I can compare with Novotel at Arnulfpark in Munich, which is newly built and the noise insulation was a lot better).

We were extremely disappointed with unrealistic cancellation policy of this hotel. We made our reservations very early to attend our conference however as we were unsure of our plans, we reserved for 7 nights. Once our travel plans were confirmed we did not require the final two nights of our reservation, so we emailed to cancel them on October 2 (our arrival was November 2) to learn that their cancellation policy meant we were required to pay 50% for each of the two nights we were cancelling. This is the worst cancellation policy of any conference hotel we have ever worked with and accordingly we would never stay at nor recommend a Pullman Hotel.

Reception on our first night was extremely gracious and accommodating. The only negative I could say is that the loud voices very late at night from the pool bar area was very bothersome on the fourth floor room that we stayed in. Over all the hotel is beautiful.

The room’s furniture was dated, carpet stained. Outside there was loud music playing all afternoon and well into the night (can be heard even with closed windows)

All good - friendly staff, lovely lobby and special arrangement for my stay but only the bathtub (seems damaged and not should be found in a 5-star hotel)

The entrance to the hotel, the lobby, the restaurant , the pool area and grounds were very nice. I was happy about our decision to stay here. Customer service was very good. But, we were disappointed the minute we went into our room. It was in much need of attention. We had upgraded and thought that the room would be in better condition. The size was good. The closet space was good. Bathroom size great. But when I showered, the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor and slightly onto the carpet in our room. There were stains that I found out later must have been from pets as I saw dogs in the hotel (we have 3 dogs, not complaint about dogs,,, but) and the furniture as well as bath tub and shower were chipped and just not what I would expect when paying the amount we did. We stayed at the Pullman for the first time because friends raved about the new one in Cuba and on the website this one looked very nice. Which it was. Except the rooms. Will we stay at a Pullman again? Probably not. We spent far too much money for the room.

Let me begin by stating the staff at this hotel are exceptional and were very friendly. However, being a 5-star hotel, I expected more from the hotel itself. I arrived on an overnight flight at 9:00am and was told I could not check in yet. The standard check-in is 3pm and the hotel would call when my room was ready. While I was disappointed because I had indicated the need for early check-in, I understand the hotel was full and this was not possible. Before leaving my bags, I went downstairs to find the gym facilities and locker room to change and freshen up from my flight since I did not yet have a room. I was surprised to find that at a 5-star property the gym was extremely small and there was no locker room or spa facility to freshen up in. I had to use the handicapped toilet with no air flow which got extremely hot while trying to "refresh." I then left my bags and went out. I never received a call about my room being ready, so I returned at 3:30 and was able to go to my room. The front desk mentioned my bags would already be in the room, but they were not and I had to call to retrieve them. Finally, it was time to rest. The windows on this property are so thin, you would think they were wide open. You could hear EVERYTHING in the room .... not that there were people noisy on the street, you could just hear every single car that drove by like it was right next to you. I was on the 6th floor and the level of noise that came through into the room was not ideal. Due to this, I did not enjoy my stay. I am not sure why this is ranked as a 5-star property. Everything was 'okay' but I was hoping for a wonderful stay and was left very unimpressed. Again, the staff was excellent, but that was just about the only thing I enjoyed about this hotel.

All was great, excellent service. Unfortunately the bathroom door was scraping the floor and extremely difficult to open or shut, with parts of the bottom of the door scraping the black tiles. Surprised the cleaning staff had not reported it. Also the glass door between the shower and toilet was very (!!) difficult to open or close and even with it completely closed water sprayed out on the floor. We Didn’t complain as we had been travelling for a while and didn’t want to have to switch rooms. Otherwise a lovely experience and would recommend the hotel to others.
