My first trip to Barcelona was truly unforgettable, and staying at the Sofitel Barcelona Skipper made the experience even more remarkable. From the moment I arrived for my 6-day, 5-night stay, I immediately understood why this hotel is considered a true 5-star establishment. Every single staff member was exceptional — professional, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely personable. From the security team greeting you at the entrance, to the bellmen, front desk staff, housekeeping, and everyone throughout the hotel, the level of hospitality was outstanding. They made me feel comfortable from day one, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. The architecture, interior design, cleanliness, and overall ambiance reflect luxury and attention to detail. The amenities were excellent and added to the comfort and quality of the stay. One of the biggest highlights was the location. Being within walking distance to amazing restaurants, attractions, and the beach made exploring Barcelona incredibly convenient and enjoyable. Overall, I would rate my experience a 10/10. I would confidently recommend the Sofitel Barcelona Skipper to any family member or friend visiting Barcelona. From making the reservation to follow ups we were very happy with our service. Josep is great as the Front Office manager and runs a great team. Doraine, Marta and Fatima were all so efficient in communicating with me and made our stay so much less stressful than normal. The staff here was the real standout. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was amazing. The rooftop area was gorgeous, as was the building, rooms, and breakfast. Highly recommend!!
