We stayed here as a family of four and had a fantastic experience. The kids loved it, and the hotel is clearly newly refurbished — rooms, bathrooms, and common areas all feel fresh, modern, and very well maintained. The rooms were cosy, quiet, and properly dark at night, which made sleeping easy for both adults and kids. Temperature control was excellent, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathrooms were spotless and very modern, with a nice surprise: a bidet hand shower, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was a highlight — an excellent buffet with a wide selection of fruits, juices, pastries, and a proper egg station offering everything from omelettes to Eggs Benedict and Eggs Florentine. Quality and variety were top-notch. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Location is also great: around 20 minutes from the airport, not far from the town centre, and close to many Barcelona attractions. Overall, a very comfortable and family-friendly stay. Highly recommended.

I dont know where to begin - from the moment we walked in, everyone was so friendly and helpful - our room was absolutely beautiful with comfy beds (this is a big thing for me) and with everything we needed. We were greeted with fruit, waters, and treats specific to the area! I cannot say enough good things about Tiago, our concierge - his recommendations and assistance were outstanding - every restaurant, activity, etc - and the staff made sure my partner had a wonderful birthday arranging champagne and a cake in the room. Zannis (may not be spelling it correctly) was just the nicest and I feel bad but I cannot remeber the other gentlemans name who assisted us a the door and with taxis and luggage was also so hospitable. The staff at both the restaurant and the breakfast area were alsways friendly and the food and drinks were wonderful (so nice to have eggs cooked your way every morning). This will be our go to hotel when in Barcelona as I dont think it could be topped.

We are very happy with the stay. We booked luxury room with balcony and sea view. Worth to mention that the hotel is not the first in the line from the see and the view was limited by the building in front of it although see was visible, we could also see a hotel pool. Room was very elegant and nice, so as the whole hotel. Breakfast bery tasty with large variety of products. Staff was kind although we did not receive upgrade offer or gift in spite of our Accor golden card. Location close to the beach althou fb a bit further from the old town although it is a quick drive with a cab. Metro station and bus stops are also nearby.

Marta was fantastic — she made the whole process so easy, from arranging the booking to making sure my clients received all their details and that our company was invoiced correctly. My clients had an exceptional stay! The service was excellent, the location was perfect, and the hotel itself is beautiful. We’ll definitely be choosing Sofitel again in the future.
