Our stay at Hôtel L’Echiquier Opéra Paris was excellent. The hotel is very well located, making it easy to explore Paris on a weekend getaway as a couple. The room was extremely comfortable, and the service throughout our stay was outstanding. The Clarins amenities were a real highlight, and the breakfast was delicious and well presented. Overall, a very enjoyable and relaxing experience.

First time in Paris. We stayed 6 nights including easter weekend. I loved my stay at this hotel. Customer service was excellent, super helpful. We were supposed to check in by 3pm but the room was ready way before our check in time. Thank u Ceasar! From there I knew, we got the perfect place in Paris. Restaurant super clean. Breakfast was delicious. Eggs, cold meats, cereal, crepes, fresh cheese and most importantly fresh bread. Thank u Chef! The 2 baristas (couldnt get their names but both wear glasses) Their lattes and capuccinos were on point. Great start of my day. Extremely clean rooms. We got the superior room with a balcony. The view to the quieter street and the beautiful landscape. Omg. ❤️ The hotel is located on the 10th. 7 min walk to metro stations, shopping, restaurants and convenience stores. I highly recommend this place for your next Parisian experience and dont forget to take pictures while you are in the elevator. I would definetly go back again!!!! Was happy with the room and bathroom cleanliness. Front desk staff very helpful and kind. Breakfast was abundant and staff there too were wonderful. The cleaning staff also were efficient and had the room done up by our return in the day. There are too many hotels nowadays where there is insufficient cleaning staff and, as a result, rooms don't get straightened out during guests' stays. My only suggestion is to replace some of your pillow sham/pillowcases - the fabric on mine was pilling and rough.

The trip was a 60th birthday present from my children. We arrived at 3 and were directed to free cakes and tea/coffee whilst they checkd if our room was ready. We were then informed that the bar and restaurant had been hired out for the night so we could not use. One of the appeals of the hotel when booking was the cocktail bar under the glass roof. On returning from dinner on first night we asked if we could have one cocktail before bed and were ushered to a small area were the barman gave us menus and said he would be back. We left after 20 minutes as there was no sign of service. On the second day we returned from walking just before 3 and once again went to have a coffee and a cake in what we were previously told was a free service. When we asked for coffee the server initially walked to the bar and then returned stating quite abruptly that it was not free. After a quick conversation it became clear that the coffee was not free just the tea and cakes but he was rude and we had been told different. I had no problem paying for the coffee and did so but the experience could have been dealt with better. Also as they had not honoured there stated facilities namely the bar and restaurant, they could have given a free coffee to somehow make up for it.
