We asked for a quiet room. Sadly we did not have a quiet experience this time. Lots of buildning work going on next door. Very noisy guests staying in the next room and we were called on the room phone in the middle of the night. We came home shattered. Sad as this is a nice hotel and convenient for our requirements.

It was a satisfactory stay in general. I'm thankful to all the personnel for their professional and kind support at all times. My room, common areas and amenities were clean and well maintained. I was able to get an uninterrupted and comfortable sleep most of the time, as long as I kept the balcony door closed to avoid the street noise, even at midnight. Beakfast selection may be a bit basic for some, but was more than enough for me and I enjoyed it. General hygiene and Covid-19 related preventive measures were taken care of seriously at all common areas. Thanks for the great overall experience...

Calm, comfy and clean. Very helpful staff. Nice to stay. The walls are thin so you can hear the noise made by your neighbours or people in the hallway.

We stayed 3 weeks in the hotel and we had some challenges. Room service was reduced to once a week, therefore, w had to ask fpr more toilet papers every 3-4days. Same with towels. Gym was right above our room and was supposed to close at 23pm. Multiple times we had to call the reception to get the people out of the gym past 23pm. There is no insulation within the gym, therefore, it makes a lot of noise in the room (706). There is a huge construction site right next door which produces a lot of noise and dust all day long, therefore, you can barely use the terrace.

Our stay wasn't bad, but neither was it considerable close to the service you would expect from a 4 stars Hotel. I contacted the hotel regarding me and my girlfriend's anniversary on the day of arrival, asking if I could pay extra to arrange some flowers or something extra for our arrival, and Juan responded that it would be on the hotel's to arrange some details for us. Very nice, if not that all we got was a "happy anniversary" from the receptionist upon checking in. If I emailed that I was ready to pay extra, perhaps it's because I wanted something more. The room was all in all ok, the floor was cleaned thoroughly every day, but can't say as much about the bathroom. The walls of the room were pretty much non-existing. You could hear every single word of what the people on the next room were talking about. Also, around 8-9 am, you would hear very loud noises made by the ladies cleaning the room upstairs, as well as their talking in the corridors. A non-requested wake up call that makes it impossible to sleep after it. The hotel assumes that water is not vital, as we were given only one complimentary bottle of water of 500ml, for a 5 nights stay. That's 50ml each day per person. Yes, it's complimentary, but we're also talking about a 4 stars hotel. Perhaps a cheaper plastic bottle every day would save money to the hotel and make the guests happier. The water boiler in our room had limestone and remaining of water from the previous tenants. On the bright side, the bed is very comfortable, the towels were replenished every day and we had no issue with the mini fridge, or the safe. Which is basically what you would expect, not an extra. The receptionists were nice, but for any need you would have to go downstairs and pick it up yourself as most of the times they were alone at the front desk. Not their fault of course, but again not the service you would expect from a 4 stars Hotel. The overall service looked more like a 3 stars hotel, and if the price would've reflected the one of a 3 stars, we'd be happier about our stay. Unfortunately we did not have time to talk about our issues during check-out as we were late for our flight, although the receptionist asked, and I was glad they did.

We feel at home in each stay with you. Thanks once again. But Accor needs to review the terms and conditions for long-stay guests. In a pandemic is not enough to clean the room once per week. If our safety is valued while the COVID-19 pandemic, please, Accor needs to rethink the terms and conditions of long-stay guests.

I was pleasantly impressed from the beginning, having a reception with smiles and openness from the reception staff. The rooms were clean and well positioned and every day the cleaning was exemplary. The breakfast is tasty and very diverse. Close to a lot of public transport stations.

Our arrival in this hotel was not the best. Even though I am a Platinum member of the Accor chain and had done the check-in online days prior to our arrival, the staff left us waiting for half an hour at the check-in desk. Only to then tell us we did not get the room we had booked. There was no welcome gift, my name was spelled wrong on the welcome card and I was referred to as Mr when my profile clearly states I am female etc. I'd say poor customer service all over, but then the nice lady at reception compensated us for the room type and quickly arranged this compensation. She was friendly and efficient. The room we had was very small but with an adequate size bathroom. Enough wardrobe space, a handy working desk, good airconditioning and much needed sound proof windows. The hotel itself is 3* at best. Breakfast is ok, not the best of products but good coffee. There is no bar, but you can get drinks at reception. The carpet in the hallways is run down with filthy marks, luckily the rooms have linoleum. The location is ok, close to metro stations and about 10mins walk from Diagonal. Given the price, and the receptionists problem solving professionalism, we would maybe have considered returning here. That is until check-out. This is when another receptionist in a very unfriendly manner 'ordered' me to pay for a bottle of water that I supposedly had in the 'bar' at reception. I did not. I did not even use my drink vouchers. Apart from the fact that she was mistaken, I do not appreciate the manner in which she spoke to me. In the end she did drop the cost (2.50) but only because I hadn't used my vouchers. We travel to Barcelona quite frequently and have always stayed elsewhere. We will continue to do so in future.

Its a good Hotel not far away from downtown, if you like to walk you need 25 minutes or you take a taxi and for few Euros you´r then there. Rooms a clean as all other Mercure Hotels I have been, Breakfast has everithing you need the time is perfect when you travel with Kids, missing in rooms is a water cooker but on reception you will get one. Great personal always friendly and try to help. I will be there again for my next travel

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at

I'm a member of Le Club Accor Hotels. I have Silver Card. Despite this fact: 1. The hotel didn't grant my request related to quiet room allocation. I received the room on the first floor with big noise (street noise) outside the window. Similar request was granted in many hotels out of AccorHotels. In AccorHotels such situation happened at the first time !!! During check in the woman at the reception told me that my room has quiet location. SHE WAS LYING! 2. The hotel didn't grant my request concerning leaving the postcard to send it. This situation happened at the first time too. 3. During making the reservation I was using 6000 points Rewards (accordingly the rules in this scope applicable in AccorHotels) and that enabled me not to pay 120 Euro (following the rules mentioned above). I prepaid the remaining part of the amount. The hotel wasn't take points from my Accor account directly after reservation. Before check out in the hotel the problem arose, because the receptionist thought that I should pay mentioned above 120 Euro. Se showed it total lack of knowledge of the rules in force in AccorHotels. I told her that I wouldn't pay this sum, because I acted in accordance with the rules in AccorHotels and hotel's duty is to take 6000 points form my Accor account. After returning home I contacted with Customer Service Accor. Employees of this service agreed withe the hotel that hotel will "burn" these 6000 points. I received security codes for this purpose and I sended them to the hotel. Unfortunately the hotel "burned" just 2000 points so far (3 weeks after returning). They didn't "burn" 4000 points. I am asking: is it so hard? Whether they can't or don't want to do it? Mayby is a form of intentional action by hotel????!!!!!!!! I suggest to you: AVOID THIS HOTEL! Mercure Barcelona Condor = lies, arrogance, disregard.

As we didn´t receive at time the code, we had to charge separately one voucher of 2000 points at the time. Everything is know fixed but we do understand your deception, kindly accept 1700 courtesy points on your loyalty card as part of our apologies. Good localization

Good lacalization, but it does not seems like a Mercury. It is much more an Ibis. Nothing at all to eat, except in breakfast. Only one person in reception, some times there is no one. The recptionist does not have any patience. They are not polite. Cleaning is acceptible.
