Two issues: Rooms are very noisy. Acoustic isolation is a real issue. Room service for lunch wasn't available until 1:30pm. Reception didnt know exactly when would open. Ended up getting a sandwich from a coffee bar in the street.

We stayed here for 6 nights for our honeymoon and got upgraded to their one and only Suite! Beautiful room with wide spacious terrace. Housekeeper did a wonderful job of making the room clean tidy. Near train station etc. FO staff are friendly and nice. Congratulated us for getting married and made us welcomed. Highly recommended hotel.

I booked a double room online to include breakfast and a BATH as was indicated on the website. I have a bad back and specifically wanted a bath. BUT even though I booked a bath I was told when I checked in that there wasn’t one available. Disappointed!

The room was clean and spacious, thanks to the highter Accor status we got the upgrade. The only disadvantage was hat the only entrence to bathroom was from the bedroom, which is uncomfortable when one person wants to use bathroom while the other one is still sleeping. Additionally you could hear everything though the sliding glass doors. Breakfast was deliciosu, I was happy to see local products, fresh pan, fruits and delucious Nespresso coffee. My biggest disappointment was lack of botteled water in the room. We had the coffee mashine in the room and free coffee capsules every day but we had to pay for mineral water. This is not the service we would expect in a 4star hotel. Also we had a pick up aroun 4pm from the hotel and I was surprtised we couldn't check out later with the diamond status.

Very nice staff at the reception and the breakfast. Breakfast choice and food quality is perfect with good Nespresso coffee. The toilet amenities is a good branded one! Love this hotel for a good rest. The room given to us is spacious and perfect. Near to metro station. Will stay here again and highly recommended.

Location is ok, the Roman was clean and food ok. But very noise hotel, the refubshment next dois was annoying, plus on Sunday morning around 8:20 the housekeeper was knocking the door to clean the room, Sunday …. Plus started to hoover the corridor later making suck noise until 10:30 , everyday the cleaning form the other rooms I could hear, dropping things, talking, dragging the bed. Was too much, bit at least they was very friendly. Reception has a bit o lack of attention with guest, I ask few questions about late checkout and they said will come back to me and nothing, I had to ask few times again, another receptionist didn’t know the prices for late check out, and also didn’t come back to me later. They wasn’t very happy to give informations about the area.

The points system only work when the reservations are done directly to our website, telephone or the ACCOR website. It is a policy that we apply with all the reservations. As for the water, we give a complimentary bottle of water the first day of the arrival, but the rest of the days, as you mention, it is not included. Nevertheless, the water from the sink is drinkable. Apart from that, we hope that you enjoyed your stay with us. Best regards

This is a really nice hotel just outside of the city centre. Therefore it is much more quiet and, the subway is close by. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The terrace is beautiful with a view over the city, when it is good weather it is a very good spot to enjoy a wine or a beer. Really friendly staff as well.

Lovely staff (in special Melania at front desk).....lot of facilities nearby..... well located....walking distance from Diagonal Avenue......fair relation cost vs. offer....room with terrace are the best with view towards Tibidabo!!!

I was pleasantly impressed from the beginning, having a reception with smiles and openness from the reception staff. The rooms were clean and well positioned and every day the cleaning was exemplary. The breakfast is tasty and very diverse. Close to a lot of public transport stations.

Our arrival in this hotel was not the best. Even though I am a Platinum member of the Accor chain and had done the check-in online days prior to our arrival, the staff left us waiting for half an hour at the check-in desk. Only to then tell us we did not get the room we had booked. There was no welcome gift, my name was spelled wrong on the welcome card and I was referred to as Mr when my profile clearly states I am female etc. I'd say poor customer service all over, but then the nice lady at reception compensated us for the room type and quickly arranged this compensation. She was friendly and efficient. The room we had was very small but with an adequate size bathroom. Enough wardrobe space, a handy working desk, good airconditioning and much needed sound proof windows. The hotel itself is 3* at best. Breakfast is ok, not the best of products but good coffee. There is no bar, but you can get drinks at reception. The carpet in the hallways is run down with filthy marks, luckily the rooms have linoleum. The location is ok, close to metro stations and about 10mins walk from Diagonal. Given the price, and the receptionists problem solving professionalism, we would maybe have considered returning here. That is until check-out. This is when another receptionist in a very unfriendly manner 'ordered' me to pay for a bottle of water that I supposedly had in the 'bar' at reception. I did not. I did not even use my drink vouchers. Apart from the fact that she was mistaken, I do not appreciate the manner in which she spoke to me. In the end she did drop the cost (2.50) but only because I hadn't used my vouchers. We travel to Barcelona quite frequently and have always stayed elsewhere. We will continue to do so in future.

Its a good Hotel not far away from downtown, if you like to walk you need 25 minutes or you take a taxi and for few Euros you´r then there. Rooms a clean as all other Mercure Hotels I have been, Breakfast has everithing you need the time is perfect when you travel with Kids, missing in rooms is a water cooker but on reception you will get one. Great personal always friendly and try to help. I will be there again for my next travel
