Nice hotel with good level of services

Spent 2 nights there. Hotel is silent, rooms are clean and modern. Food at the restaurant is very good and offers various dishes (indian and occidental food). I enjoyed playing pool. Did not have time to use the swimming pool or the gym, but will for sure try next time. Service is also at a very good level.

Experience was good and stay was pleasant ...well located atleast for me and for my work...but the only issue was the service road which was bit in bad condition which takes away the glam of the hotel...apart from that hotel was really good and thank you for the service provided by the staff.

My first satisfying stay in Mercure Chennai Sriperumbudur

My first stay in Mercure Chennai Sriperumbudur was quite satisfying in general though there are few things to improved. Hotel Staffs - The staffs are well trained and perform their tasks with professionalism. All are polite and helpful. I felt warmth the moment i arrived at hotel. Room - Room allocated on 1st night was awful as it was a connecting room. The guest in next room was making noises till late at night thus i did not have a good sleep on my 1st night in Hotel Mercure. My 2nd night stay was at Ibis which Hotel Mercure has arranged was 1.5 hours drive away and it was a tedious journey considering jamming in the evening rush hour. To make situation worse, i have to rush back to Hotel Mercure the next morning to deposit my luggage before my colleague pick me up. However, Hotel Mercure fulfilled my request on not having a connecting room and i was able to sleep well throughout the rest of my stay in Hotel Mercure. The room at Hotel Mercure was neat, clean and tidy. However, i couldn't find any box of soft tissue available. Probably hotel should provide it in every room. Meals - Breakfast was ok to me as the Asian delights selection is limited. I settled my dinner at hotel restaurant and the staffs was attentive. However, the serving was slow. Apparently i have to wait quite a long time to get my dinner served. Probably, the hotel should improve on this. In general, my stay in Hotel Mercure is enjoying despite the areas need to be improved.

Happy and Satisfied with regards to the room, amenities, hygiene, ambience, locality.. Food was not up to the mark.. We took dinner buffet (veg) which was below average.. Next morning, same experience with the breakfast.. 2nd issue is with no subscription to kids channels.. Our baby was upset for the same.. Rest, as mentioned, great front desk and every staff member was so professional.. We definitely prioritise Mercure for our next travels however, ll think twice about food...

This is the 4th time I stay at the Mercure Sriperumbudur. The hotel is fairly clean. Carpets need to be replaced in most of the rooms as they are too stained. All people treat the guests good, but they are annoying when they ask for on-line reviews, this is clearly a practice promoted, directly or indirectly, by the hotel and needs to cease.

I asked for a packed breakfast in the morning at 6.15 am on 9th and 10th December. But on 9th, Bfast was delivered at 7.30 am. And on 10th, i was informed that, since I need bfast to be delivered to room, it would be chargeable. If this was the case, I should have been informed about this in the night itself when I asked for the packed breakfast. (I need packed breakfast early morning in my room because I work out in the morning). After this nuisance, I refrained myself from asking for the packed breakfast. on 9th December, I looked at the menu card available in the room and several dishes were marked as 'available 24X7". But when I called at 11 pm, I was told that the kitchen is closed and only sandwiches are available. And due to this, I had to sleep hungry. And the very next morning, breakfast was also not delivered as promised. After going through all this, I have decided that this was my last visit to your esteemed hotel. Pathetic service.

Unhappy that you did not burn points on checkout

I had to do a booking of two rooms with different date of check out. Apparently I cannot apply the points as a whole for both bookings. It is unfortunate that the hotel refused to burn more points while checkout where it is possible to do so in other Accor hotels I have stayed. For example in Mercure Mysore.

The hotel is quite recent and very well maintained. Communication with the staff is really easy. They are professional and really take care of your well being. Food is good, there is a large choice between indian style and continental so, if you don't like the one you can go to the second. The only thing that really need an improvement is the transportation service. Sharing the car with other customers isn't an issue but waiting again and again after the car in the evening when all is booked since the morning isn't acceptable and it is even worse when the answer you get on the phone is not the Truth.
