Please teach what consideration an flexibility means to your sales head My way or high way attitude is not the way to deal with At the same time hats off to Harsh who really knows how to deal with corporates and how to intervene But he had to say sorry because the main guy said we already informed and now nothing doing attitude It’s just because of our feel that’s one one should not have a problem with job we took down the actual experience reviews

My stay experience at Novotel Chennai Sipcot was unfortunately very disappointing. First of all, I admit part of the mistake was mine. While booking through Agoda, the date somehow changed from 23/02 to 23/03, which I did not notice at the time. Because of this issue, I had to cancel the booking through Agoda and then rebook directly at the hotel reception. However, what disappointed me the most was the attitude and response of the staff. I was specifically looking for a 5-star hotel experience, but later realized this property is actually closer to a 4-star level, which perhaps explains why the service felt far from warm or welcoming. The staff interaction felt very cold and mechanical, without any empathy. I had just arrived from Japan and was already feeling very unwell because of the heavy dust in the environment, which triggered my allergy. I explained clearly to the front desk that I was sick and needed to go to the room as soon as possible. Despite that, the entire check-in process was extremely slow. I ended up paying about ₹5000 extra, which honestly was not the problem for me — the issue was the lack of urgency and understanding when a guest is clearly not feeling well. Another frustrating part was the breakfast situation. I specifically wanted a room with breakfast included because I didn’t want to go outside again in the dusty environment. However, the staff made the process unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming, and it felt like they were intentionally avoiding including breakfast in the booking. At that moment I was already exhausted and not in a condition to stand there waiting. Honestly, if I had been feeling better, I probably would have cancelled the stay and gone to another hotel. But due to my health condition at that moment, I just continued. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, mainly due to the lack of empathy, slow service, and unprofessional handling of a guest’s situation. I hope the management improves staff training so they can better understand and respond to customers who may be in difficult circumstances.
