I usually choose the IBIS brand for hotel stays, but this time I chose Novotel for a trip with my fiancée. The hotel is located right off the main road, and everything inside is neat and clean. Upon arrival, I received a warm welcome at the reception—especially from Mrs. Lalitha, who is a truly lovely person. I mentioned that I wanted to surprise my fiancée for her birthday, and they decorated the room beautifully; she was absolutely delighted. The room, the washroom, and the housekeeping staff were all excellent and very helpful. I would certainly recommend this hotel to my family, friends, and acquaintances.

Most of services are great, excepted repeated experiences regarding drop off service during Company & Hotel (1st trip Jan'2026 & 2nd trip Aug'2026). Drivers came very late in the first day when drop off from Company even very advance of booking, this made uncomfortable. Kindly consider this point, as i will have to stay at your hotel in next trip very soon so hope no repeat happen

Enjoyed the stay and especially bfast and dinner ..Lot of varities to choose and food served were authentic.My family had a great time and enjoyed the stay; Special mention: Ms Sarita Sharma was very kind and attentive during our bfast and dinner ;She tried her best to handle the guests in the peak hours;and we were surprised with the cake after the bfast and kids loved the gesture and it made us to visit again in future Receptionist Ms.Krutika Pundlik Nikhade helped us for seamless check in and check out and instantly resolved the billing error in the system Overall stay was fantastic and gaming arrangement in the reception area was too good for kids and waiting guests to enjoy the time

My booking confirmation on the Novotel website clearly showed a final amount of â‚ą9,517 inclusive of taxes. Despite this, I was repeatedly asked to pay â‚ą10,357, with the explanation that taxes were not reflected on the website. Any discrepancy between the hotel's pricing system and website is not the guest's responsibility, especially when the booking confirmation explicitly states the final amount. What is particularly frustrating is that I was allowed to check in after being told the matter could be settled at checkout, only to face the exact same issue again during checkout. This resulted in an unnecessary 15-20 minutes delay and avoidable inconvenience. In addition, the Mastercard offer - complimentary breakfast was not honoured despite my request. To date, I have also not received my invoice, and there has been no response to my request regarding the watch charger cable and adapter I left behind. Overall, this experience reflects poor billing transparency, inadequate customer service, and a lack of responsiveness to guest concerns. I expect a prompt resolution, including the invoice and an update on my lost item request.

I had the absolute worst experience at Novotel Chennai OMR during our recent stay. Despite the standard check-in time being 2:00 PM, we arrived late at 4:00 PM expecting our two pool-side rooms to be ready. To our utter shock, neither room was prepared. After waiting for 20 minutes, they managed to hand over just one room. The second room wasn't provided until a full hour later. Because of this atrocious delay, a family of 5 was forced to squeeze into a single room with just one bathroom to get completely dressed and ready. This created massive chaos and directly caused us to be late for an important nearby event we were attending. To make matters worse, the overall service throughout the property was thoroughly disappointing and nowhere near the standard of other reputable hotels. Front desk management was disorganized, indifferent, and completely unbothered by the inconvenience they caused us. I would want the Hotel management to take notice of this situation and apprise me about the corrective actions taken to avoid such situation in the future.
