Overall my stay was comfortable however I would like to give you my feedback to improve the hotel. There were a few things that annoyed me about my stay. The room didn't have a good space to work. The 2 chairs and the table are not conducive to a comfortable workstation. There were no hooks to hang my towel after I used it - minor but annoying. My room wasn't cleaned 2 days in a row. Did I miss that I had to request this? The pool was advertised at 6am opening but it was all dark and the front office told me after 7am even then the lights on the stairs were still out. I realized I could have gone up on the my 3rd day. Just a tip you really should seal your tiles around the pool with a gripping agent. It is very slippery and I would say dangerous. Breakfast starting at 7am is too late. Like other hotels I have stayed in Chennai it should be 6am. Good points were the breakfast, the gym, the pool, staff at breakfast were fabulous. Staff at counter were generally good however there were times that I felt they were dismissive.

Only issue is staff at reception are not provided chairs to sit and are made to stand all day - please get this fixed asap

Our visit to Pullman Chennai was meant to be a special occasion — celebrating my parents’ 50th anniversary and also my baby’s first outing. Naturally, we had very high expectations from the experience. Unfortunately, the dinner experience at the restaurant was disappointing and ended up spoiling what was meant to be a memorable evening. Some of the restaurant staff showed a noticeable level of arrogance and unwillingness to accommodate even a small request for a table suitable for our baby. The attitude felt dismissive, and it seemed like the staff were more inclined to prioritize and serve wealthy NRI families over other guests. Hospitality should feel inclusive, and this behavior left us quite disappointed. That said, there were also positives. Lokesh, Chinni at the reception did a fantastic job and went above and beyond to help us, which we truly appreciate. The rooms were good, and the hotel location is excellent. Overall, while the property and some staff members are great, the restaurant service and staff attitude need serious improvement to match the standards expected from a hotel like Pullman.

Overall experience was very positive. Only thing which is clearly below standards is the gym. It feels like the gym was forgotten when the property was renovated. Old equipment near the end of its life and atmosphere in a stark contrast to the beautifully renovated rest of the property.
