I first need to start with the exceptionally warm welcome we received the evening we arrived by Julien, he was friendly, welcoming and professional. The next day, Antoine was nothing short of super helpful when I was panicking because all the restaurants I wanted to go to were booked -- he scored us reservations at a great restaurant just a seven-minute walk from the property, which is by the way super airy and clean. The barmen were also great!

Overall very satisfactory. The parking was easy, the check-in was quick, the room spacious, clean and well air-conditioned and the staff very helpful. The only criticisms would be the shower, which was a challenge to get working at a consistent and comfortable temperature, and that the twin beds moved away from the wall whilst we were in them. Metz itself is highly recommended, and the hotel is very close to the extraordinary 4th century St. Pierre basilica and within an easy walk of the cathedral.

Lovely building and interesting location. But breakfast was very expensive and I had trouble with the bath as I couldn’t reach the soap dispensers which weren’t directly positioned over the bath. And there were no handrailson the bath which made it difficult for me as an ‘elderly person’.

I had call and discussed several times the importance of the room being wheelchair accessible I was guaranteed that the room was completely wheelchair accessible On arrival after a very tiring 13 hour drive discovered the bathroom and toilet were not accessible Unbelievable what one is put through being in a wheelchair my daughter could not have a shower No solution or explanation was provided Very disappointed

This was our second stay and the hotel and it fulfilled our expectations in every way. This time we visited the red and had a delicious evening meal. The hotel is perfecttly located within walking distance of the city centre, close to the highway and not far from the railway station. We hope to come back next time we are in France.
