We enjoyed everything about this fine hotel. Situated in a historic building, the interior is modern and welcoming. Kimberly at reception did a great job of checking us in and locking up our luggage because we were early. Te hotel is an easy walk from the central train station and a perfect location for the Christmas markets and to walk in the central core. We had a deluxe double room that was large and comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Breakfast was included and was a very nice buffet. The quiche Lorraine was super delicious. I highly recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely stay in this hotel. The staff is super friendly, especially a shout-out to the staff of the breakfast. The hotel is clean and nicely furnished, with a super location. We had some minor things we would improve, the rooms can feel a bit cold and large. You have so much space it could do with a bit more furnishing or even art (as is already in all hallways). The breakfast was very good and lovely, however on Sunday the team was left out to dry with too little staffing. All the other days they had so much more time for the guests and the experience, which is great, this was a let down to the guest as well as to them. Furthermore, the hotel could do with a more "bar-ry" area. There is a lovely restaurant which looks amazing, however due to the positioning of the breakfast buffet there is no dedicated bar area. By moving the buffet slightly a very spacious, lovely and inviting bar area could be created in front of the moving doors, with the buffet hidden when not in use. Lastly, the history of the location is amazing, it could be more incorporated in the theming and details of the rooms, with more information on the building and its history in the city. These are just minor things on an otherwise lovely stay, again, the staff was amazing, the location is fabulous and I would highly recommend this hotel and the city of Metz to our friends and family. If you are thinking of visiting this hotel, you should!
