We enjoyed our stay here. Perfectly located close to the cathedral and eateries and the rail station for our onward travel. Room comfortable, bathroom and shower very good. Towels could’ve been better quality. Breakfast was more than adequate. Very good price paid and reception staff (young man) was very friendly, informative and professional.

A 2 night stay. Has largely the style and feel of many city hotels from previous era's but the rooms are a good size and generally well equipped. Compliments to the reception staff who are understanding and helpful. Breakfast buffet has a good variety. Only real negative aspect is that the lighting in the room is not very bright. This impacts comfort of working at the desk when there is little or low sunlight. Could be solved by having a desk lamp.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Ibis Styles Metz Centre Gare. The room was nicely furbished, clean and quiet. The same goes for the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was full of nice things!

There are steps getting to the reception and to lift which can be difficult to navigate if you have heavy luggage. The central staircase looks very nice. Room was standard, clean and okay in terms of sizing. Very basic amenities (need to go to reception if you want hot water as there is no kettle or bottled water) It was pouring rain the day we visited but was told by reception they do not have any umbrellas Room price includes a breakfast, basic and self service. . Within close proximity to train station and a short walk to city center. . May choose to stay at different hotel if returning to Metz next time
