I stayed twice at this hotel and the last time it was really because every other one was full. I was even worse than the first time. No check of the green pass (pass sanitaire), terrible staff not welcoming at all, dirty common areas and incredibly dirty room (hair in the bathroom, coffee on the wall near the coffee area, dirt spots on the door). Do not recommend.

Although this hotel is ok inside, the front door is surrounded by trash and homeless people. It is a very unsettling experience.

Although the building looks dated on the outside on the inside it looks and feel like a Novotel should. Friendly staff, goodsized rooms good breakfast.

The room was really good aswell as the cleaning of the room, only at the bar of the hotel it's difficult to get a drink. Especially when the guy was working, the ladies where aware of what I needed only de guy was really difficult as well his English was not as what I would expect from a hotel

Stayed here on a one night lay over when driving to Normandy. The access to the hotel is a bit awkward since there is no direct access from the street. There are two small elevators to use which can be an issue during certain times of the day. However the hotel has a great location on top of a shopping mall and the older district of the city which are great for walking, especially along the river.

Well-located property but rooms are like student dorms, with dusty nooks and corners that are not properly cleaned. It belongs to Ibis category, not Novotel.

The room was booked as a supreme room, but the condition of the room was shabby, torn material on the bed sofa, toilet and bathroom facilities very poor, not the of other Novotel hotel rooms we have stopped in, in the past. Overall the hotel looked like it could do with a refit inside and out.

First disappointing stay at an Accor hotel

Having stayed at several Accor hotels and having always had a pleasant stay we feel the need to complain at the standard of the superior room at the Novotel Metz centre. There was a tear in the sofa bed and the toilet and bathroom area was not acceptable in our opinion. We were really disappointed with our room it was not up to the usual standard that we have come to expect of the Accor hotel.

Coming into the hotel’s lobby, we were pleasantly surprised with the way the hotel looked. It was right in the centre of Metz, which was easy to find. Going up to the room, however, the entire hotel smelled like urine, which was nauseating. The room was also not clean, with brown/orange stains on the walls of the toilets, on the ceilings in the room, and the overall room was just dirty. The service was great, but that does not change the experience we had. Would not recommend staying at this hotel, even if it is just for one night on the way to vacation, just like we did. On a positive note, the pool was very pretty and nice temperature!

Very disappointed. Once arrived I gave to ask for an upgrade since the room booked was very bad, old and with all the signs of the time. In general this is the feeling you have in this hotel that it has been abandoned by the Chain mother. No value for money.

Most pleasant staff there to make you feel welcome in a deserted place. Still a Novotel that may need to think of a revamp after all this is gone but a very quiet room and comfortable bedding made up for the social distancing and eating in the room.

Excellent hotel right in the city center and close to all attractions. Hotel parking is spotless and very nice with direct access with the elevator to the hotel. Breakfast is plentiful and very good and the dinner is even better.
