We needed a hotel with secure parking and easy access to the hotel. Check in was friendly and efficient, the room was very comfortable and spacious and the hotel bar/retaurant offered a good choice with professional service.

Very well located in the old part of Metz and a very good feel in the hotel. Clean and comfortable. Only one small lift for access to the room floors and no staircase alternative, so you can get stuck at times, but it didn't cause any real issue. The breakfast was pretty ok. The bakery items could've been better. A decent variety of breads but nothing special - and not very tasty. And only one sweet - a pain au something (would've been discernable had it more taste). A lazy attitude to replenishing stuff as well. A hot dish for vegetarians to compliment hot stuff for everyone else would add well appreciated diversity.

The hotel is not updated with very old facilities

As a Gold member, I requested (and was granted) a late check-out for the following day at 3:00 p.m. We made sure to hang the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. While enjoying a well-deserved sleep-in, we were suddenly awakened around 11:55 a.m. by another guest who somehow managed to open our door and walk in. I had to ask him to leave (while completely naked). Then, around 1:00 p.m., the phone rang. It was reception trying to contact me. I barely had time to answer before I was forced to hang up, as the housekeeper opened the door wide (again, despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign still being displayed). Still unclothed, I had to go to the door and ask her to leave, explaining that we had a confirmed late check-out until 3:00 p.m. Reception called me again shortly after, and I repeated the situation. After all of this, we finally left, extremely frustrated. As a Gold member, this is the first time I have ever experienced such an unacceptable situation in an Accor Group hotel.
