I received a warm welcome on arrival, staff were lovely and helpful and I was happy with most of my stay. There were some minor issues with my room, the toilet was not securely fixed to the floor in the bathroom, the lights sometimes flickered and the switches made crunching noises. I was disappointed that my room was cleaned as I had left the sign on the door to request not to be disturbed.

Stayed in Mercure many times but this was disappointing. Poor selection of fruit for breakfast. Fruit salad arrived as we were leaving. No seeds, no dried fruit. No cold water. Quite tricky to time boiled eggs or to fry in little pans. Only white bread. No wholemeal, complet, no brown nor farmhouse. Water dispenser on our floor, second floor, not working throughout our stay. Bit of a disaster really!!

The rooms are old and need renovation. The beds are not comfortable and in general I received a feeling of "this purely transactional", which is way far from the touristic feeling I had.
