Very nice hotel, well placed with a very good breakfast. Room was nice but could do with some decorating . The doors were rather tatty.

Receptionist on check-in was pleasant and helpful. I was surprised to find on arrival that hypoallergenic bedding wasn't possible as I had specifically requested it but was not told until arrival, when it was too late to do anything else. As a lone traveller, it was also a bit disconcerting to find no phone in the room. The breakfast dining room staff were lovely, though the lights were too low hanging and bright on one side of the room. My dinner experience was disappointing.
