Dear Matthew, Thank you for your positive feedback! We are pleased that you enjoyed the comfort of your room and had a relaxing stay with us. Thank you as well for mentioning the smoking issue, we will check and advise how we can improve this situation. I absolutely understand that this is a very uncomfortable way of waking up. Nice hotel and we mostly enjoyed the 6-night stay. Our only issue was the smoking area right outside the front door. Every morning our room filled with smelly smoke since we slept with the windows open. Please move the smokers farther from the building. This should be standard practice so your guests can breath fresh air, not smoke.

Room was fine, clean. Hotel location is good for underground and shops / restaurants/ eateries nearby. Weekend room rate was also fair. Overall very happy.

The only downside was the lack of conditioner in the shower. That was a real surprise in this price range. I also find having a picture of a woman on the shower wall.... a bit strange.

We stay with you next year again, but here is just a note : When we stayed at the Mercure Berlin in 2025, we were a bit surprised at the graphic of a young female on the screen in the bathroom. Rather an inappropriate image for a business hotel we thought. This year, 2026, the graphics are still there but now you have a campaign running to promote the safeguarding of women and girls - notices in the lifts etc. So, the graphics in the rooms seem completely at odds with your admirable campaign.

The price was far too high considering the overall quality of the stay. Although the room was advertised as spacious, it was actually very small. The carpet was visibly worn and did not appear to be cleaned regularly. It was also quite annoying to have someone knocking on the door every day to deliver water, despite the “Do Not Disturb” sign being displayed. On the positive side, the staff at reception were very friendly and helpful, as were the housekeeping staff on our floor.

What a great night sleep I had!!!! I asked for a quiet room and it was indeed super quiet/ruhig 😊 The bed is very comfortable and the room pretty nice - apart from the lack of a desk if you need to do some work Bathroom was nice too - some little complaint about the shower head settings which are pretty high, I could reach but not anyone can Check-in/out was quick, efficient and friendly Will defo come back, the hotel location is great too
