The hotel is stylish in design but a little tired in areas. My bathroom had several of the wall fittings very loose (shower hose attachment, toilet roll holder). the bathroom floor was also very warped in areas due to water damage. Wardrobe in bedroom were very chipped in places and one of the electric blinds did not work. Bed was large and very comfortable. However the heating in the room did not seem to work and I was cold, so a portable heater was provided. I was very pleased by the helpfulness of the staff, in particular the reception, concierge and bar staff. However there were two female staff working in the Bel Etage room (setup as a bar / restaurant for the day / evening of the party on 12/02) who although were very polite while serving me talked loudly and inappropriately about other members of staff while I was there and continued this conversation during breakfast a few days later - I found it difficult to get their attention for service. The spa / pool area was lovely. Overall I had a nice stay

Well-designed hotel with an exclusive feel like a place to stay for people in the know. Spacious room overlooking Tiergarten. Very good breakfast. Attentive and well-honed staff, especially Mattia Paino, who has a very sophisticated air about him in line with the hotel’s polished image. He kept a helpful eye on us. Location felt a little bit secluded compared to some of my other more central stays in Berlin (e.g. Adlon Kempinski, Hotel Luc etc) but that has its advantages especially for a Valentine’s Day getaway. Spa looked nice but it could use a steam room, warmer pool and rubber slippers (I slipped and almost took a pretty bad fall).

Very beautiful hotel with excellent and kind staff and a warm comfortable room. To be really picky ; the breakfast is good but could have more choice - pastries etc- and a couple of things in the room not quite right - the toilet seat not fixed properly and why did they only provide two odd shaped cups when there were two of us wanting the same drink? But a lovely hotel and I would certainly stay again… Oh, and the bedside chocolates ran out after a couple of nights…❤️❤️😘
