After having an unpleasant hotel experience our first few days in Berlin, we moved to Das Stue. It was stunning -- the service was amazing, the common spaces were well kept. We would give the stay a 10, but the room itself seemed a bit run down (scuffs on multiple walls, stains on curtains, room didn't cool down enough). We usually don't expect this in the rooms in a 5-star hotel. Overall, would definitely recommend the hotel.

We had one night to stay in Berlin and Das Stue turned out to be the perfect choice . In every way. Our room faced the zoo. And by “zoo” we don’t mean animals in cages but ostriches and Gazelles etc roaming a beautiful green park. The staff was so helpful. Julien from front desk actually helped us with squeezing our suitcases in our rental car. . The breakfast . The location everything about this hotel was an absolute 10

You did so many things right, I will just mention the things that were off. The button for the bed reading light was swapped with the other nightstand. My button turned on my husband's light, and his button turned on mine. We were there for 6 days I think... one of those days, the towels were extra soft. The rest of the time, they were less so. The mattress had dips in it. It wasn't uncomfortable, but it was surprising that the mattress felt so lived-in. The lighting in the bar area in the evening felt very spot-lit. It was hard to find a seat that didnt feel like it was lit for the theater... i felt like I was on display. Regardless, it was a fantastic stay, everyone was very nice, and the food/drinks were fantastic.

An exceptional experience in every respect. The only aspect that could be improved is the waiting time at the restaurant. We waited a very long time for lunch, and what should have been a brief meal ended up taking two hours of our time (I believe there may have been a shift change in table service and we were unfortunately forgotten). Other than that, a five-star experience.
