Located on the edge of Tiergarten, it is a quick forested walk to the Victory Tower, or a 25-minute stroll to Brandenburg Gate. The global SO brand tends to lean more into a playful, trendy vibe which may not fit everyone's 5-star expectations. Our room was "artistic" and great for social media, but lacked some functional elements. However the Carte Blanche restaurant stands out for dinner and exceptional breakfast menu items. Special appreciation goes to the team - every one of them - who were friendly, professional and helpful. A+

Cool location, good linens on the bed, but absolutely atrocious breakfast and low-quality plastic shower stall. Bathroom in general was poorly-designed with no space to put anything, small sink, not enough towels.

We had a very pleasant 3 night stay at Das Stue. The hotel is beautiful and in a quiet location next to the Tiergarten. Our junior suite was very spacious, had lots of natural light and was in excellent condition. The hotel has a nice bar and a really delicious breakfast. Staff are friendly and professional. The swimming pool is very nice and great to have in a city hotel. No private parking facilities, only on-street parking.

the minimum you would anticipate from 5 star hotel is to have a good Air condition system we came After the heat wave and could hardly sleep since the room was HOT ( i wonder what would have happened if we would be there during the heat wave. spoke to the reception staff - they admit that the A/C is not good stating that the hotel chain do not want to invest half million euro needed to solve this! so the solution was old time noisy fan that was brought to the room

It's been a while since I stayed at Das Stue last time and I simply forgot, how welcoming and homely it feels. The hotel is stylish, beautifully located - but what really makes a difference are the people. It was an experience of great hospitality, helpfulness and kindness.
