Our first time in this impressive and comfortable hotel. Staff were efficient, courteous, friendly and approachable and the service was excellent. Rooms were very clean, with clean and comfortable beds and serviced daily to a very high standard. Breakfast was excellent with a very wide range of choices of hot and cold food. The food in the restaurant was well-prepared and the service was good. No complaints whatsoever.

WiFi quality was extremely poor and 5G coverage was virtually not existing in room 510.
Working in the room was not really possible.
Although the reception staff remained correct and friendly, the daily complaints were basically ignored (a high speed wifi voucher was tried, but did obviously not change anything).
The room itself was clean, but the shower drain en tile joints were having quite a bit of mold.
With daily rates above 500€, one would hope not having to worry about these kind of shortcomings.
A request for a late check-out of 1 hour was granted without a problem. But honestly, one would expect a partial refund, when during a 4 night stay no solution can be found … a business hotel without internet connectivity in the room is hardly imaginable.

We had booked a room with an extra towel for 3 adults. On arrival the room had an extra bed but with only 1 pillow. Also the room was set up for 2 people - 2 cups and 2 towels. We read the materials
In the room and it asked asked us to phone down to reception with any queries. However there was no phone in the room. Overall very poor and a real lack of attention to detail which any good hotel would have addressed.

Overall the staff at the hotel were lovely and welcoming. The room was well equipped and the bed was comfy. Also the breakfast had a good selection. Unfortunately someone in the hotel who had a key to our room stole some expensive running gels (4 in total) from our locked room the day before the Berlin marathon, which was a real shame. We discovered this on the morning of the race, which meant we had no time to organise to get more. Whilst the gels are not valuable in the general scheme of things, this was a real breach of trust you put in the staff at the hotel who can access your room. It made me feel quite uncomfortable afterwards.

It was good. Besides the blanket, we also had a sheet to cover ourselves with. It also had an orthopedic pillow, which was really great for us.

That said, we are sorry that you found the ease of access less than ideal. Our hotel sits on Budapester Strasse in Berlin’s City West, a short walk from the Zoologischer Garten S-Bahn station and the Wittenbergplatz underground stop. Our concierge team is always available to help with directions, transport, or any arrival needs for your next visit.
Finally, we are pleased that the orthopedic pillow suited you so well. We offer a pillow menu on the TV in every room, and our reception team can bring you different options whenever you need them.

Clean, friendly staff, great location. Unfortunately the WiFi did not work in my room for my entire stay. Reoested requests with reception to help but they were unable to. Coffee machine also did not work.

We are also sorry the coffee maker was not working and we wish we could have sorted this for you on the spot.

It was the third time we stayed in this hotel. The hotel location is convenient and accessible to many places and public transport. It looks pretty nice in general in particular the entrance and the bar. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful and certainly made me feel welcome and comfortable to be in the hotel. My compliments to her 👍 The room was fine and everything was available. The air conditioning worked well and the bed was fine. While the room is not that old, it might need some cosmetic repair here and there where the traces of usage were so visible. The ventilation in the bathroom didn’t function well. It was not clear for me whether the bottle of water was free of charge in the room so I didn’t drink it. The breakfast was pretty nice and had a lot of selections which I liked. It would be better if the staff could point out the designated seats directly when we entered. It was not pleasant that after I selected the seat for twice, for every time the staff pointed out that we should sit somewhere else. The swimming pool and the sauna were certainly great to use when relaxing and it was also an important reason that we selected this hotel. It was pity that the stream sauna was broken though. In general it is a decent hotel and will certainly go for it next time again in Berlin.

The uncertainty around the water bottle is understandable, and we always encourage our guests to ask our team for clarification on complimentary items. We also note your feedback about breakfast seating and the steam sauna being unavailable, and we are sorry for the inconvenience this caused.
