The location suits me, but everything else was much better in previous years . We were not offered an upgrade.((yes, we know it's subject to availability). The mini bar in the rooms was completely empty.It seems to me that as a diamond member I have soft drinks free of charge, or was it in other hotels. It's a good thing that the staff is still very friendly and that's one of the reasons we return to that hotel year after year.

Great location! Reception staff so helpful and polite!! As were bar staff/evening staff. Breakfast was over priced and over cooked! Whilst it provided lots of options, the food was cold, and not edible! So ended up paying €35 for a few pieces of fruits. Breakfast staff didn’t greet me or my sister once, yet greated everyone else! Working in hospitality you become more aware of these things so I wasn’t impressed. Overall experience for breakfast was poor. Hotel pool was quite cold and out dated. Tiles could do with a clean. Hotel room had a funny smell to it which I think was the air conditioning! Maybe can’t be avoided but wasn’t pleasant.

Room was really hot so didn’t sleep well

Good stay overall, and the hotel is very nice. However, the maintenance in the room seemed to be a bit lacking, as there appeared to be some mold on the shower ceiling and around the silicone seals. It was also a bit disappointing to see that the minibars had been removed at least their contents. For a premium hotel, it’s usually nice to have the option of grabbing a drink or two without having to go down to the bar or head to a nearby store.

Rooms are clean, but outdates and worn out. They have smell that’s lingering regardless the fact that they are cleaned daily. Breakfast is good and well supplied. Wellness is broken - showers not working for more than few months, wet sauna not working for at least 7 nights we were there. Quiet hour is not observed regardless the fact that most of the time there is staff present. All in all - for this price, many much better options available in Berlin. Avoid.

Overall, the experience was okay. However, the toilet was covered in extensive mold, which was very unpleasant. Our itinerary was extremely busy, so we didn’t have time to report it to the front desk during our stay. That said, the mold was so severe that it’s hard to believe the housekeeping staff didn’t notice it during routine room cleaning. It’s the room of 812.

Brought my two children to stay for 5 days, to go to a concert in Berlin. Location easy to get to from the U2 station, and short walk to the Zoo and the TierGarten park. Pool and gym was lovely, and the kids absolutely loved the stay here. Will be coming back.
