The main issue was that the doors to the rooms banged when closed, which woke me multiple times during the night. Staff said that's just how it is because of the locks. The room was small, the pillows were lumpy, and the walls and floor had dried splashes on them. Also, it would be better if the room had a safe. A staff member was unsure of the booking system and charged us a second time. It was quickly corrected when I gave information to other staff the next day. The people hanging out in the square and sleeping on the street may make solo travellers wary. Overall, it was overpriced, and I would not recommend it.

Stayed at this hotel many times before & I do like it. Located a few minutes walk from the U-Bahn station, surrounded my many eateries & shops. Room was a good size with a decent shower and comfortable bed. Receptionist was very kind allowing me to check in early and check out late. Very grateful to him. No complaints and will stay there again. Next stay is already booked.

Great staff ! I’m staying regularly in this place. The biggest plus are de reception guys! Any interaction it’s a pure pleasure. I stayed few times in Mercure on the opposite site of Wittenberg Platz but really disappointed by attitude of reception guys I decided to move to Ibis… Cheaper and nicer.. The only thing that I will improve is the drinking weather distributors on every floor with some reusable bottles in the rooms … as some ibis style are doing.

Perfect location 5 min walk to metro. There is a supermarket across the hotel. Rooms are big & well cleaned. air condition is enough. There is a big sitting &resting area have table football.We didn't have breakfast but they have breakfast 06:00-10:00.
