It worked really well for me being a single older lady. I felt safer than being in an Airbnb but had the option to eat in if I wanted to.

We aim to create a welcoming environment for all our guests, and your comments affirm our efforts. Best regards, Adagio Nice Promenade des Anglais

The hotel did not seem like a 4 star but a 3 star rather. Also, I didn't feel comfortable whenever I had breakfast with my family. The breakfast lady seemed to always give us some looks, maybe because we are a black family. Because of this, we always rushed to go back to our room. Also, in the morning of 8th April during my stay, before having my breakfast, the receptionist on that day was very rude. I went to ask if she had some rubberbands. Before asking her, she told me to hold on with her hands ✋️ so she could pick up a phone call. She didn't even prioritise me first. I had to wait for her to finish the phone call. Then I overheard her and the breakfast lady laughing at me. Moreover on my arrival date, the receptionist told me I had to make my payment for accommodation. Meanwhile I had paid overall months ago. I had to show him screen shots on my online banking. Because of this, my check in took very long and me and my family were very embarrassed in front of other guests. When we were allowed into our rooms, he sent me an apologetic email that they did receive my payment. I really wouldn't have minded the outdated hotel building but it was how the staff treated me and my family I did not like. I do not think I will ever come back. I have worked as an Accor heartist before and this is not how we were taught to treat guests.

Dear Jackie E., Thank you for sharing your feedback regarding your stay with us. We appreciate your comments and sincerely apologize for the experiences you encountered during your visit. It is disappointing to learn that our team did not meet your expectations in terms of service and courtesy. We value all our guests and strive to create an inclusive environment. Hyeri Y. Families - Confirmed reviews ALL

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience, primarily due to the level of service. Throughout my stay, I found several staff members to be unhelpful and unapproachable. On multiple occasions when I asked for assistance, staff offered minimal guidance, or sat on their seat on their phone and just told me to deal with it which made it difficult to resolve even simple requests. The most concerning experience occurred during check-out. The staff member at reception was notably unfriendly and dismissive. I felt that other local guests were prioritised and served others behind me in the line. Also when I asked about a welcome drink included with my Accor membership, the response was handled in an unprofessional manner. The staff walked to the back and made dismissive comments with another staff with a disgusted facial expression right in front of me that felt inappropriate and disrespectful. As an Accor member, this was particularly disappointing. I value consistent service standards, and this experience did not meet Accor membership expectations. It has unfortunately made me reconsider my loyalty to the brand. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and used to improve customer service, as respectful and attentive interaction should be a basic standard in hospitality. Will not recommend this hotel to family or friends at all. It’s not worth the money spent!

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to address several points raised in your review. First, we are particularly surprised by your comments regarding our team. We place great importance on professionalism, courtesy, and availability, and such descriptions do not reflect the standards we strive to uphold daily. Our staff is trained to assist guests promptly and respectfully at all times. Regarding your departure experience, we sincerely regret if you felt overlooked or uncomfortable. Please be assured that serving guests fairly and in order is a fundamental principle for us. If any misunderstanding occurred, it was certainly not intentional. Concerning your membership benefits, including the welcome drink, these are indeed subject to specific conditions depending on the rate booked and the type of establishment. Our team remains available to clarify these details whenever needed. That said, we do regret that you did not request to speak with a manager during your stay. This would have allowed us to address your concerns immediately and take appropriate action, ensuring a more satisfactory resolution in real time. We remain committed to providing a welcoming and respectful environment for all our guests and would have appreciated the opportunity to assist you directly. Yours sincerely, Management

Kaien S. Couples - Confirmed reviews ALL

I don't often leave a negative review for a hotel, but this is the worst Accor hotel I ever stayed in. Definitely not a 4-star and probably worse than many 3-star Ibis. Overall it feels like a low-end, cheap serviced apartment with the Adagio brand name. Rooms need some serious refurbishment - the floor looks very dated, and there are cracks on the floor, walls and ceiling, which I don't typically expect to see in 4-star hotels. Very unprofessional staff, and probably significantly understaffed. As a gold card member I asked about the welcome drink they offer, and they explained that only juice and coffee were offered. When I asked if wine or other drinks are offered (as many other Accor hôtels offer), the staff essentially LAUGHED at me and said 'there's no free wine in France'. Well, many other Accor 4-star do offer wine as welcome drink and that's why I asked. I understand each hotel could differ in their offering, but the attitude of the staff is regrettably intolerable. When we were checking out, the reception desk also seemed extremely busy and working under stress. Breakfast is simple and plain, and definitely not worth the 18 euros they charge per person. Location is near the beach and that's probably the only good side of it.

Dear Kaien S., Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent stay at our hotel. We sincerely apologize for the experience you described, as it does not reflect the standards we strive to uphold at Aparthotel Adagio Nice Promenade des Anglais. We appreciate your comments about the condition of the rooms, and we understand how important a well-maintained environment is for our guests. Your observations regarding the staff's professionalism and the level of service provided are noted and will be addressed internally. We expect our team to provide courteous service, and it is disappointing to hear that this was not your experience. Regarding the breakfast offering, we continually assess our services to ensure they meet our guests' expectations. We appreciate your input, which will be taken into consideration as we strive to improve. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed our location. Thank you again for your valuable feedback.
