This was no better than sleeping at the airport. I checked in around 5 p.m. and was so tired, I got ready to take a shower, but there was no hot water and no phone in the room to contact reception. Also, I had contacted the hotel TWICE before to ask about transportation to the airport; they never answered. I asked when checking in, and they say I could just take the tramway behind the hotel. True, except trams only start at 8 a.m. in Nice, which is no good for a 7 a.m. flight. I ended up walking to the airport--a good 45 minutes over uneven ground that broke my suitcase. Really not a happy camper! I complained to Accor a month ago but still no response or apology.

Only lukewarm water available for shower, not enough hot water for a good shower. Toilet smelled like sewage. Poor service as well. Was not given a parking space and was told to park illegally along the streets.

Parking was not offered, advised to illegally park along the streets by the hotel staff. Room had a mild sewage smell. Only lukewarm water available for shower, definitely not warm enough for such a chilly weather.

The room smelled of stale cigarette smoke the entire time.

Everything was fine except the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and cooking smells the entire time. The smell was coming out of the ventilation vent in the wall, (not the air conditioning, which I didn’t use). It was so strong in the mornings it woke me up. I had to keep opening the window wide, wide, which made it very noisy and cold. Otherwise you couldn’t breathe. My room was near the back, so I wonder if the smell was coming up from the staff areas, or smoking room. I stuffed my pants in the vent, and that made it a bit better.

Thanks to its convenient location near the airport and the tramline, the ibis aéroport provides convenient and streamlined services for travellers with business or activities in the airport area. The bar and restaurant are open for extended periods, catering to a wide variety of schedules -even when airplanes are late. The rooms are small yet functional with all of the amenities expected. The personnel is always friendly and ready to help, making each stay a pleasurable one.

Comfortable bed. Nice hot shower and controllable heating in room. All plusses. However, food in restaurant was appalling. I ordered Salad Nicoise (as I was in Nice) and what I received was a tinned version for €15. Good try harder on food.

The front desk lady gave my daughter (23) attitude when we couldn’t get the key to work. It was because she didn’t clearly write the room number on the key card. This isnt the hotels fault but we couldn’t sleep because people down the hall were partying until 2am, and we had to a very early flight (4am).

Good for overnight stay.

Very good location near the airport and the tramway. All facilities for the hotel with the private parking, warm welcome from the staff and good and comfortable clean room. We've decided to have dinner in center Town but restaurant and bar available at the hotel.

Check in online 2 days before and received email that keys will be ready on arrival,no need to queue in reception, enjoy priority welcome etc. Received text on arrival at the airport saying keys are ready we are expecting you meet us in the welcome point. Arrived at the hotel almost 5pm and was told that only 1 room ready out of 2 room (6 of us staying ). The other room still needs to be cleaned Receptionist not even welcoming us. Went to the 1st room and found out it's a double bed and a single bed but we booked 3 single beds went down to reception and staff not even apologised for inconvenience and been told it will take another 10 to 15 mins. Because we don't want to waste the day so we decided to just leave our luggages and went out. Came back on the hotel almost 11pm. Receptionist not even said good evening. This really put us off to book on any Ibis hotel. Will not recommend it to any of our friends .

Great beds, simple structure that requires no extras, good food and helpful staff.

I honestly loved staying at the hotel. when I have a chance to chose a hotel in an unkown location I always go for Ibis because it fits my needs and it's not expensive. A lot of attention is paid to details that make a stay comfortable for a traveller who is already away from own territory. The quality of the beds is of an expensive hotel. I strongly recommend you keep that attitude towards the bed quality.

staff were extremely helpful and spoke excellent english. the room was clean and pleasant situated close to the elevator for my father's mobility difficulties which we greatly appreciated. the wardrobe in the room had been previously damaged, there were cigaret burns, one on the sink, one on the floor of the bathroom. the shower was excellent!
