Overall nice resort. Facilities and grounds well kept. Well-staffed and requests were quickly addressed. However, the F&B was very very weak for a resort at this level, and made the whole experience lackluster. Breakfast - there were NEVER any bowls for miso soup or porridge. I always had to ask. Staff never proactively looked at what was needed or replenished. Same thing with small spoons at the fruit/yogurt area. This is just a symptom of terrible training. Whoever is the restaurant mangager should learn how to train their staff. I can understand 1 or 2 days of oversight, but this literally happened every day consistently. Dinner - Inconsistent service across restaurants. Kwee Zeen (breakfast restaurant) again was always very weak. No water refills, orders took forever. Whoever runs Kwee Zeen really needs to learn how to train its staff. Cucina was much better because of the manager but you can tell staff were not used to high-intensity work.

Overall the staff were excellent. The room was clean but smaller than expected. We had a warm welcoming experience which we liked. The worst thing about our experience was the food. Except the breakfast, the food quality and taste were not as marketed. At best it is only good and at worst it is uneatable. Toya restaurant was a bad food experience. Food not tasty nor clean.
