I stayed here to celebrate my engagement with my fiancee and we had a fantastic stay. The rooms were large and cosy with a lovely view of canary wharf. The location was also fantastic and was within walking distance to many different restaurants and bars. Special shoutout to Rachel who was also fantastic, very welcoming and had excellent customer service. The rooftop bar was also lovely at night with an amazing view of central london. Highly recommend.

Firstly, the room itself was good. However, the TV was quite disappointing. YouTube simply wouldn’t work, and in 2026, most guests expect a modern Smart TV rather than traditional channels. It would be much better to have a Smart TV that supports apps such as YouTube, along with casting and screen-mirroring functionality. Secondly, there was no moisturiser or body lotion provided. Given the UK’s often unpredictable and dry weather, I would consider this an essential bathroom amenity and would recommend making it available in all rooms.

I had two shampoos in my room and called down to reception to ask for conditioner. No one picked up despite calling for 20min. Tried WhatsApp and no one answered or picked up. I walked down to ask for it and reception was rude and barely addressed me. Told me housekeeping would bring it to my room. I waited for an hour and no one came so had to walk down again. Woman at reception this time grabbed it from a closet and handed up me. Could have just done that the first time. This was 11pm and I had flown in from another country and just wanted to shower and go to sleep but had to stay up late because of bad servicec

I chose the hotel for my birthday, everything about the hotel seemed monetary. I was being required to pay to get a bath robe. Also I had expected some sort of birthday gesture like every other hotel does, but I didn’t get any preferential treatment or love from them on my birthday even after I had mentioned at the front desk.

Most of the personnel was very friendly and helpful. Just the person who registered us the 1st day who was not very friendly. Now, regarding the room, I do some travel, and love your Madrid at the Las Ventas Novotel Hotel, your Sofitel at Heathrow, but the Canary Wharf room was more a room of a 1 or 2 starts hotel. The black molde around the bathtub was very noticeable, corners and all over the tub. The tub's doors, at the button, looked like the residue had never been clean. Then the area between the nightside table and the wall there was so much dust that looks like it was never cleaned/vacuum. The elevators are so dirty, they looked like never been clean. In the hall of the 6th floor there was a fabric rose petal, for at least 4 days. Meaning the hall was never cleaned. The rotating door, at the bottom of each panel there is a black area that also looks like never cleaned. There are 4 cigarettes containers, that were never empty during the period I was there. This property needs major cleaning, supervision. I will not consider returning to this property if visiting London again.
