Our room temp was uncontrollable. We spoke to four different staff members at the front desk, each of whom said someone would address it and take care of it and get our room comfortable. No one did. Finally spoke with the manager who admitted that the building was having a hard time keeping up with the temperatures and that they would not be able to get the room temp to the temperatures we wanted. He then said he would have a fan delivered to our room which he never did. I was traveling with a disabled person, and we barely slept as a result of the room being so hot. I will never stay at the hotel again. I felt like we were being strung along by staff, all of whom knew they could not solve the problem, but pretended they would. And then the manager failed to even provide a room fan he promised.I feel like we paid a lot of money for a very poor experience.

Room large well designed. Terrace let down by odd amount of chairs and no table. Toilet had not been cleaned from previous guests. No milk for tea/coffee. Upstairs bar not set up for guests of hotel just prioritising local drop in customers. Bar staff were arguing whilst I was waiting to be served. I am sure this hotel used to have a bar downstairs where the coffee shop is but no sign of it now. My tier of Accors membership should of come with a complimentry drink - it didn't. Overall bit disapointing for a room costing almost £500 for a night. Not the usual standard I have been used to with an Accors hotel.

Loved the hotel, the spacious & comfortable rooms with fabulous views, the rooftop bar and restaurant. The staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. We had a major issue with the air con on night one. It was a hot night and we had set the air con to 19 degrees before bed. At 2am we both woke up as it was exceptionally hot in the room. Checked the air con thermostat and it showed that the temp in the room was 25 degrees. The unit had been locked centrally which meant we were unable to change this (presumably to save on power? - no idea). Clearly on a hot night, with rooms that are sealed and do not have windows that can be opened, air con working is essential. Called down to reception and got through after a few tries - they did something at their end which gave us back control of the thermostat and we were able to set it at the lower temp. It had led to a very disturbed night though.
