Good location - but could do with a freshen up.

I’ll start by saying, all the staff were wonderful. However the building itself needs a freshen up. The arm chairs in the restaurant had staining on the arm rests and there was a strange looking black mould looking stain on the roof tiles. The rooms themselves were clean enough, but the shower screen doesn’t come far enough up, so water gets sprayed everywhere when having a shower. Dinner was okay, however the avocado on toast for breakfast looked like it had been frozen or come from a tube. Was an okay stay for a few nights.

Whilst the rooms were tidy, they were also tired. The housekeeping staff barely touched the room each day and the restaurant/bar service was less than mediocre.
