My major problem was the paid parking for both the web site and Accor said nothing about it. We were very disappointed to find this when we arrived! Otherwise the stay was good.

I was only staying one night, but found the overall experience very comfortable. The view from the restaurant window, and my room window, was beautiful. The restaurant had fantastic food. It is very conveniently located near Newcastle airport, with a useful shuttle bus to the airport, that starts at 5 am. The one thing I didn't like was the inability to change the temperature set point of the air con in my room. That meant the room was either too hot or too cold. Not sure if this was just a fault in the one in my room (I didn't ask), but this is one thing I would change. Also, the WiFI is not free. Need to pay at least $10. This was disappointing. So I just used the mobile hotspot from my phone.

I had a good stay and think a few things can improve the experience. There were small piles of hair on the tiles that looked like they were left by a mop before I checked in and another one the following day after cleaners had been. There should be sanitiser equipment for the gym especially now and something should be done to reduce the condensation dripping from the aircon in the meals/bar area.
