After a long wait to check in the room was very pleasant. Not a lot to do other than eat and sleep, waiting for your early morning flight. The restaurant staff were great and the food well presented. Sad that the shuttle bus service has been terminated.

We needed to be attend a family wedding. Location was great for close. Halfway between wedding and Newcastle. The family room was massive. Big call out to our lovely room steward. She looked after us for two days. Even put take away water in our rooms as it was going to be a hot day.

Comfortable room , handy location. Facilities etc fine. Staff experience from one extreme to the other - Very good, friendly , helpful desk and household staff as I prepared to leave, to other end of spectrum - being ignored and on arrival when a quick "hello, welcome, someone will be available to help you in just a moment' type acknowledgement would have been enough, from the person right in front of me at the desk, rather than pretend Im not obviously waiting to check in. Someone else ended up attending to my needs a minute later but it was a very odd experience to be invisible to someone less than a half a metre away, who is determinedly avoiding eye contact.

The staff on check in at 9:30pm were helpful and pleasant. The room was clean. Most other things were a bit disappointing. The dull background noise in our room made sleep difficult. The buffet breakfast was unappetising. I would have been happy if I could have switched the breakfast for 1 decent coffee that the staff were both drinking, but unfortunately that was not included in the breakfast. I decided to opt out as it looked like it would have been a big ask to get a coffee. While the location is handy for an early flight I would rather drive a bit further than stay there again. Very lack lustre

I quite enjoyed this stay, the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The only issue I had was with the phone not working for room service, but I was able to go down to the lobby and a staff member took my order. I had an early flight, and was able to check out quickly that morning.
