When we entered our room on the 2nd floor the smell of sewerage in the room was over powering . It was also just outside the room. We immediately went back to reception and advised that the room had a major odour and we would not stay in it. We were allocated a different level and room .

No tissues in box in bathroom, there was a false fingernail behind the bathroom door, only two cardboard mugs , so had to use the same one if wanting another coffee. Our son and daughter in law were in the next room, they said the water from the shower was leaking out onto the carpet

Everything is amazing here - the rooms/beds are new and so comfortable, lovely view from window. The staff are all amazingly friendly and helpful, the restaurant is seriously phenomenal with great food choices and lovely helpful friendly. This is our hotel of choice in Newcastle :)

We loved every thing about the place , the beds were so comfortable we didn't want to leave, close to everything in port Stephens, and Newcastle down the road . The restaurant was 1st class loved the breakfast.

The staff are always friendly and try to be very helpful. The hotel is quite pricey for the service level though, while quick to apologise, the mistakes are frequent and many; even the basics. The room is fine, it's the restaurant side that always seems to be in question - for the prices of the whole package, one leaves a little disappointed because of long waits when it's really not busy, forgotten food items, difficulty in getting attention of staff. Stress again they are always friendly, quick to apologise, it'd just be nice for both customer and staff if they didn't have to!

After a day spent in airports it was a very welcome site to finally get here... service was excellent, very quiet n clean.got in too late for dinner but had breakfast and it was excellent... will definitely be back..

Check in was great. We did have a problem with the room electrics (circuit had tripped) but this was quickly resolved (change of room). Rooms are excellent the bed and bed sheets were amazing! If only I could have that comfort at home. Restaurant selection was limited but very nice. The lemon lime and bitters was not very nice (we have sweet tooth) they were just very bland not sure why. Rooms are super rf clean and quiet. Will definitely use again.
