Was disappointed for the price we paid - definitely not 4 star!! The carpet in the hallways smelt a wet/ musty smell - the room wasn't much better . No vanity kits in the room, rooms not sound proof - was woken up all night by motor vehicles going down King Street. It was just the old Travel Lodge with a cheap make over - more like 3 stars

Rooms were clean and tidy with a newish carpet. Everything was in working order. For a 4-star hotel, I was surprised that they did not provide bedroom slippers or a bathrobe. Otherwise everything else was as expected of a 4 star hotel.

The hotel itself fits with the price you're paying for accommodation. It is well located in terms of centrality. However, there was intense music playing from across the road late into the early hours of the morning. Convenient to get to with parking onsite (half outdoors). Staff are slightly disinterested and the actual premises itself is rundown. Carpets, bathroom floors and general features are old and tired. There is a strong musty, if not mouldy, smell in the corridors and rooms. It really is just for those passing through for an affordable stay.
