The staff were great - very attentive at the bar and friendly - good location. The rooms were disappointing, needs a good update, not exactly clean - disappointing. Really do need to reassess the entry into facility from the road - during check-in cars were all piled up coming off a very bush road, we were stuck behind cars, had to go into reception and ask people to move as we were on a deadline to get to an event. Not real safe/ideal - very bad access.

We had some hiccups with the bookings , and there was a blackout on our 2nd night , but this didnt affect our overall stay. Good location accross a woolies and a few minutes away from darby street

The first problem was the address on the Accor website which showed 12 Steel Street Newcastle when in fact it is 12 Steel Street Newcastle West. Two different locations. The room was noisy it was like trying to sleep in the middle of a Grand Prix circuit. Sounded like cars and bikes racing people doing burnouts it was a nightmare very little sleep. We are Accor Plus Platinum members and the room and especially the bathroom couldn't have been any smaller.There was no complimentary bottled water which after a decent drive some cold water would be nice.

We apologise if this was not clearly communicated during your stay. Finally, we are disappointed to learn that your impression of our reception team was not a positive one.
