Having never stayed at an Ibis Budget before, it’s difficult to review. As a cheap and easy stop off point on my trip up the coast, it was fine. It was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. Whilst the fittings were not in excellent conditions, I’m not sure it’s reasonable to expect in a location that bills itself as “budget”. perhaps the best recommendation is to say that if I did this trip again, I would use this location again.

Not good we were near the front door which opened and closed a lot of the night. No cups , tea, coffee or milk to have a cuppa after a long drive or first thing in the morning. We will never stay at one of these again.

The room I had was next o the Newcastle Link road and the traffic noise was surprisingly high. Is the insulation and double glazing up to standard? The room was also not in good condition eg. sink tap was not secured, no drinking glasses available, mattress had a sag, etc.

I suffered severe allergies staying at your hotel. I woke up in the night and the morning feeling terrible with allergies, but as soon as I left the hotel I started to feel fine and got better over the day, but when coming back and sleeping the allergies would come back. The TV could not be turned off with the remote, had to pull out the power to the back of the TV. There was no soap provided. There was no tea/coffee/sugar/milk provided. There was no cleaning service for the 3 days I stayed.

I have stayed here on many occasions, but this time we had no coffee or tea, no room service was done, the male receptionists was more than happy to help us out with fresh towels, ants everwhere ,just little things..booked a queen room, ended up with a bunk bed above us...... On the all it is what it is.

I appreciate that this is a budget hotel but the rooms were very run down. The staff at the front desk was minimalist in term of service. I called the hotel to ask a few questions. The reception said they were completely booked out. I booked online. When I got there the hotel was practically empty.
