Friendly receptionist, good parking (paid). I was told that room 101(ground floor) had been renovated. For some reason they had removed the wall hanger & clothes hangers and the only place you could hang clothes were 2 small hooks on either side of the wall mirror by the door. Luckily I always bring clothes hangers with me, so hung them from the small hooks. Advised reception of this as it needs to be installed again. Shared microwave in foyer worked fine. I was used to the bathroom facilities from previous stays. I was able to shower without wetting the whole area by pointing the hose at the back wall and not using the strongest pressure. Plenty of hot water. 2 towels provided + bathmat.Liquid soap holder fixture on wall which was useful as there is no place to put your own toiletries. Bring your own shower caddy to hang over the shower fixture if you bring toiletries. Room temperature is always comfortable, no need for extra heating. Bed is comfortable, but I'm not a fan of the bedding, Doona is enclosed within 2 sheets instead of one Doona cover. I get all tangled up with the sheets coming loose. There needs to be a towel hook next to the sink which is in the room. I have to hang the towel over the light fitting next to the sink. Have given this feedback previously. No action taken. Liquid soap holder fixture on wall by sink also. Room was clean and small fridge worked ok. Tea, coffee etc provided. Bin by the sink had no liner. Needed cleaning. No suitcase stand. I have to put suitcase on the shelf under the TV after moving the jug & tray onto side of sink. I have back trouble & is too hard to access if put on the floor. A chair would be nice, as I put the stool next to the bed as a bedside table.(Note to myself, bring a folding chair next time) Very happy with the new large TV with access to subtitles which I need. Good remote. Window faces the main road but noise at night wasn't too bad, especially after removing hearing aids :). Window faces the large hedge, so window blind could be lifted up and I still had privacy. One booking issue though is that if you book with free cancellation, the breakfast option is automatically included. It needs to be an optional choice. I always have to request that the charge be removed from the total charge as I never have time to use the breakfast facility. All in all, good value for the price. I will be staying here again.

The room was dirty. There was mould on the walls and in the shower. There were hairs on the bed. The 'air conditioning' didnt work, only had a fan setting, but could tell it had never been cleaned. The rooms are definitely not soundproof from the traffic on the road. The counter where the coffee etc is, had not been cleaned and had sugar all spilt on it.
