Mold everywhere, contracted a chest infection because of it.

I stayed a few nights in the ibis budget for work so only used the rooms to sleep in, I can’t tell you how disgusting the rooms are. All of us experienced mold everywhere, this is including the Aircon, I have now contracted a chest infection because of breathing in the toxins in the room. I think health inspectors should be involved with this one.
budget but everything you need

Pretty sure the floor wasn't swept in my room, was so dirty, nor the shower as there was hair on the walls, and no it wasn't mine. My fridge was not on when I got there, which didn't bother me as I didn't need it, but I did inform them when I left as the milk was most probably off as it had been sitting in a hot fridge for however long, whether they replaced it or not is another thing altogether. Based on the cleanliness of the room I'd say probably not. My bed was also made very poorly - by the morning I was basically asleep on the mattress protector which to me is disgusting. I am not a restless sleeper and the top blankets were still tucked in so the bottom sheet was obviously not tucked in properly. In saying that the staff were friendly, the location was good for what I needed and the price was ok for what I needed, but I probably won't stay there again. I've been itchy since then.

Good value and comfortable bed. The rating reflects the tack of soap in the room. We had 2 rooms and in both there was no had soap only soap in the shower to use in the sink outside the bathroom. The other room has watered down soap in the shower. I understand this is budget but lack of soap is next level special for a brand like ibis. To top this off we used the guest bathroom after check out (coming back from breakfast) and that had no soap. In current times with Covid this is serious for peoples hygiene. The room was smaller than most in this price point but really comfortable beds and air-conditioning wored well.
