Gave me a room with AC not working, bedding looked dirty too on bed, moved me to another room, bedding in both looked unclean I didn't complain. Though I wasn't offered anything for inconvenience of having to move like free breakfast or carapace removed I paid for both on my stay. Staff are very good though and overall room looked clean.

An excellent hotel in an easy and convenient part of Newcastle. Right next to the beach and shopping, restaurants and public transport. The restaurant Bistro Dalby has an excellent and reasonably priced menu. Giorgio and Grace were so friendly and efficient looking after us at dinner. Stay here if in Newcastle.

Hotel was below average for a Novotel, did not get regular upgrade for Accor Gold member, wrong initial room charge
