This is our 3rd stay in 3 years. Staff are always wonderful, Brendan, Caleb and the team really shine. All the things we didn't like on our first stay have all been fixed! Great stuff Team Schwartz!

I have stayed at several Novotel properties over the years, including more recently at Melbourne South Wharf and North Wollongong, and have generally found the experience to be consistent, warm, and family friendly. Unfortunately, this was not my experience during our stay in Newcastle. The service provided by reception staff was subpar and did not reflect the standard I have come to expect from Novotel. Additionally, the rooms did not align with how they were advertised on your website. There were also several housekeeping concerns. In the family room, towels were changed and the beds were made, however used tea cups were not replaced and the main room bin was not emptied despite being completely full. In the superior room, the curtains were noticeably dirty. A request was also made to housekeeping to replenish toilet paper in the superior room, however this was not actioned. We choose to stay at Novotel because the experience is typically welcoming and family oriented, however this was lacking during this stay. As frequent Accor hotel guests, this was disappointing and not reflective of the standard we have come to expect from the brand.
