We returned to our room very late and turned the sheets down to find that they were dirty and had hair all through them. This was a special occasion and I cannot usually afford a room of this expense so I would have thought the room would have been immaculate! When I mentioned it to staff on check out all they offered was to pay for my breakfast or parking none of which I required so no compensation at all? I will be lodging a formal complaint as I am now sick and I suspect this is from sleeping in someone else’s filth. I am disturbed you find this acceptable

I was booked in from monday to friday. Monday, fine. Tuesday get back after work and a glass i used wasn't cleaned. Wednesday after work same glass still wasn't cleaned and bin wasn't emptied. Thursday morning I left my towels on the floor because I knew I was going to have a shower after work that day. Thursday after work I get back and glass still hasnt been cleaned, bin still not emptied and the bed wasn't made (4pm). I go to have a shower and the old towels were hung back up and still wet. This made me wonder if I actually did leave them on the floor. Maybe I automatically just hung them up but I remember specifically dropping them on the floor. But logically if the room hasnt been touch then why would the towels have been hung up. Who knows what happened, either way. No housekeeping. Also, on my way to my room there were lots of room service dishes in the hallway and a random plate of fruit on the floor. I went to the concierge to tell him my concerns for not having a made up room and to tell him about the plates. His response was that the floor gets "swept" every 2 hours and they are probably plates from lunch. I dont argue but I know they arent. Anyway he offers me a free glass of wine and I sit in the lounge until dinner. No issues. I get up and go and get another glass of wine at 6pm and ask if there is a table for dinner. The lady says pick any one. So I do. No one came and asked for my order until 6.30pm and then they didnt even bring water. After dinner at about 7.15pm I head upstairs to my room and the dishes are still there. So much for a 2 hour sweep. Go to bed. In the morning I leave at about 6.30 am and all the dishes and the random plate of fruit is still there. So I took photos. So to sum up. Zero make up service. Concierge did not bother to follow up and blew me off with a glass of wine and the waitress was incompetent because for the first 20 mins of dinner I was the only one there. So cant blame it on being busy. Oh, I forgot there coffee cups and plates on the lounge tables where I was having my pre dinner drink for 3 plus hours and nobody came to clean them up. Even though it is right in front of the concierges desk. I would say that a glass of wine hardly makes up for the terrible lazy service.
