Unhygienic and dirty

I can’t believe that amount of money charged to stay overnight in a king suite, only to experience the room dirty and unclean. The carpets were so dirty that it left the bottom on my feet black, there was a squashed bug left on the ceiling, and the awful smell of the plumbing in the bathroom was enough to make me gag. Not to mention that the guest next door left a dirty nappy in the alcove near my room door, which wreaked. Clearly, there are no appropriate cleaning protocols at this hotel.

After struggling to find someone to check us in at the front desk initially and waiting, we then went on to have a very pleasant service from lovely staff. Our room looked over beach with a balcony, the only distraction buildings works going on next door. On attending breakfast the next morning with only 10 minutes left we had low expectations for service and selection but instead got the opposite. We were quickly accommodated, got poached eggs and barrister coffees as we got our meals. They were quite happy to pack up around us and giving us warning of their need to pack things up but still asked and made sure we had all we needed to be satisfied. That was a real credit to you restaurant staff that morning. Put a smile on our faces.
