Some operational aspects of this hotel fell well below expectations. Firstly, ordering coffee during breakfast was a mess. Our order was relatively simple: 3x Oat Cappuccinos. After several attempts, the kitchen produced 7 (!!) coffees, none with the correct milk alternatives. Second, we were unable to contact the hotel over the phone. This spanned across multiple attempts. Multiple options on the automated phone menu just resulted in the phone connection being cut off. When employees transferred us, the phone line was also broken. Thirdly, in-person communication felt forced and just disorganised. This wouldn’t normally be an issue, but this hotel advertises itself as a 5* hotel. The pool & sauna were good, and it was appreciated that they remained open until 23:00. The rooms also felt a bit dated, but not a problem per-se. Otherwise this was a disappointing stay and we do not plan on returning.

Tried to call hotel twice before check in. Phones aren’t being answered. Also tried to message them on instant message through the hotels.com app with no reply. As a result beds weren’t made into twins when we arrived at 10pm at night. Overall hotel stay was good. They made the beds when we got to the room.

Second time we’ve stayed here. Both times we’ve had great rooms with views and we’ve found the team friendly, efficient and customer oriented. Without and hitch, the hotel coped with a last minute change in bedding configuration and was able to swap us to a rwin bedded room.

meant to have priority check in - went to an attended line free counter with , was told wrong one. only to line up at another counter. The room was dusty. no one mentioned arrival drinks - I had to ask. 1-2 lifts weren’t working properly Went to the pool when a couple arrived and started making out and were all over one another in very skimpy attire - not appropriate for families. Had dinner in the hotel, discount wasn’t applied so now i have to follow that up. have rewards points - no one mentioned anything about using these to pay for my dinner instead of paying. if you’re going to offer membership services make it easy for people to use them at the time of service and remind them of what’s available otherwise it’s useless

Our first time staying at The Pullman Albert Park and we are very impressed. From the moment we arrived at check in, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, ensuring a seamless process. We certainly felt very welcome! From that moment, and our interactions with staff from all areas of the hotel, I can honestly say that they are among the best I have ever encountered. From a tradie in the lift, to the waiting staff in the restaurant the staff were so warm, helpful and friendly. I kept commenting to my daughter about it. I was also very impressed with the room. It was spacious, the bed was very comfortable with great quality linen. The bathroom was well appointed with an excellent quality shower. This means a lot to most travellers! Honestly, I mostly stay at much more expensive hotels like The Westin and The Langham and in my opinion The Pullman Albert Park has everything at an equal, if not better quality than these. Dining in Windows for dinner and buffet breakfast was lovely. Darren was delightful to chat to and assist us. The hotel lobby is spacious with cosy areas to sit quietly and enjoy a coffee. Ayu on checkout was delightful and eager to assist us with luggage or anything else needed. A bottle of water thoughtfully left in the car after the valet parking was an appreciated touch. I can highly recommend The Pullman Albert Park and will definitely return. Thank you!
