Every little surprise meant so much to us, and words simply cannot express how happy and grateful we were! The room was incredibly comfortable, and all the staff were exceptionally friendly, warm and welcoming! The hotel’s location was also very convenient and close to the tram. My stay with you was made even better with the friendly and helpful staff i spoke t when i had some questions. They made the time and effort to assist me, even when it was extremely busy (expo/conference and the Special Olympics were on at the time). This hotel is more like a mantra and not up to the standard of other pullmans. Room was tired and hot. 29 degrees outside and 27 in room and staff they were unable to fix and gave a fan. Then my hairdryer sparked with smoke and room smelt but staff didn’t care. After 15 minutes they changed the hairdryer but it was the PowerPoint that was sparking. Dangerous stay!

I fully understand how concerning this would have been, and I also regret that our team’s response at the time did not reflect the care and urgency the situation deserved. Following your feedback, we arranged for a licensed electrician to inspect the room, including the power point in question, and the hairdryer has also been inspected. Please rest assured that the safety of all our guests is our highest priority, and your comments have been shared with our Engineering and Front Office teams to ensure such matters are attended to promptly and with appropriate care. I was very disappointed with the condition of the room. The room was extremely run down and looked nothing like the photos on the hotel’s website, for any of the room types shown. The shower area was the worst part: the tiles throughout were covered in mould, which is unacceptable for basic hygiene, let alone a 5-star hotel. The overall condition of the room does not justify the Pullman brand or the price we paid. When I walked in I could hardly believe this was the same hotel advertised online. I would not recommend this hotel until the rooms are properly refurbished and cleaned. Guests should not have to pay 5-star prices for a room in this condition.

Although the hotel feels a bit dated, the service was fantastic, room was spacious and clean and had a nice view of Albert Park lake. The bar staff in particular were engaging and gave great personal service.

Staff were lovely in all areas we used, Albert park over the road for a lovely stroll making you feel outside of a big city. Rooms are a good size but decor in rooms is old and TV system is ancient.

We had a great stay at the Pullman. Our rooms were upgraded to suits which we were very gratefull. The front of house staff were excellent, the same with the Concierge. Everyone was very happy and friendly.

Although the hotel and staff were nice enough, the showers were hard to get right. Constant change of temp made a nice shower nearly impossible. The bar was nice but mega expensive, and possibly the slowest service of any bar I’ve been to. Nice people but mega slow. I wouldn’t stay again unless the convenient location was a must.
