The room was nice and clean, basic but fit for purpose. We were in Cambridge for a company Christmas party. However, there was only 1 toilet for male/female/disabled in the bar area and there was no toilet roll and the seat was covered in excrement!!

Check in was easy and the staff very helpful. The room was a good size, clean, and well-furnished. The bed was too hard for a side-sleeper, my hip ached all night. Breakfast was a disappointment. The eggs were rubbery, the hash brown was so hard it shattered, and the bacon tasted too salty. I was also unable to find any decaf tea. My partner loved the coffee but found the orange juice was heavily watered down.

Cleanliness and room great reception often crammed area too small and not very inviting

Sadly, I mentioned the staff at least 4 times, that the water in my room was barely warm. They politely replied: "we're sorry to hear that, we'll make sure it gets fixed." And again and again shower water was consistently below warm. I don't think I will ever choose to stay there again, it used to be one of my favorite places to stay at when I visit Cambridge. Not anymore.
