A pleasant welcome and experience with staff throughout our two night stay. The breakfast was exceptional and better than a Premier Inn breakfast. Booking out was easy and made more satisfying when the 20% discount was applied. All in all it was a peaceful, affordable stay with easy access from main road to York.

Good location for accessing York and surrounding area, with Park & Ride bus close by. Checked in with ease, and room was available mid-afternoon, which was appreciated.

We had a great stay at Mercure York. Its easy to access with a park and ride a couplemof minutes drive away. The room was comfortable and large. Breakfast was great, would be good to add the options of porridge and poached eggs on request. Thr staff were all friendly. Only negative comment ia that the furniture is getting a bit old and the long curtains cover thr radiator so had to fols it up onto the windowsill as it was only heating the window bay, the room warmed quickly once I'd moved the curtain. A shuttle bus from the park and ride would also be great.

Large and spacious rooms. Very well located, near to Rawcliffe park and ride 15-20 mins walk away which takes you to the city center in 15 mins. Free parking is available on the site. The property also has a very large lush green garden area and lot of sitting at the bar. Really enjoyed our stay.
