The room was in need of refurbishment. The idea of having to have breakfast in a lounge off of a coffee table is simply ludicrous, There is plenty of room on the upper floor of the restaurant for those with a dog to enjoy breakfast and not to have the indignity of sitting in the outer lounge. I accept that some will not want a dog in the restaurant but the upper floor is well away from the main seating area. Other wise nice staff and friendly.

We have the main bar area where guests with dogs can be seated on the higher tables. I am sorry if this was not identified on your recent visit. Some lovely feedback on the team.

My stay was brief as I was attending an event. The hotel was comfy. I had an adapted room which was good. Staff were very helpful. Only negative comment is that the hotel would benefit from some refurb as some of it looked rather tired.

We booked a last-minute stay to take our poorly dog to the Animal Trust for emergency surgery and were very impressed with this hotel - it was in a perfect location for the places we needed to be. The whole place was well presented, and our room was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s also dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us - meaning we could bring our other dog with us! Every member of staff we met was very friendly and genuinely wanted to help. A special shoutout to Irene, who went above and beyond to help us, made us feel very relaxed (on an otherwise very stressful trip) and was very attentive. If we come across another hotel from this chain in the future, we’d definitely choose to stay again. Highly recommended!

Booked afternoon tea last Friday. Pleasantly met and showed to our table. We were looked after by Irene all afternoon who is a star. Can't do enough for you. Food was very nice and plentiful. Had to take some home with us. Highly recommended.
