The lady in the reception was nice and helpful. The room was very basic with the bath sink literally next to the bed. The bed was comfortable though. The breakfast was basic but had melon some days and waffles some days and good coffee. So, although a very basic breakfast it was good and tasty (just don't expect a Hilton level buffet). The area was not the nicest with strange characters in the neighborhood. The hotel uses a 6-digit passcode / room, no passkeys. When the lobby was closed anyone seemed to still be able to get into the hotel. Some people hanging around late in the lobby did not seem to be hotel guests. I would certainly not choose this hotel for a family trip for sure.

I killed two silverfish and when I woke up in the morning, I noticed that the curtain was riddled with holes from silverfish eating it. I told the receptionist on the way out, “The place is infested with silverfish, but I assumed you already know that and she replied, “Yep!”

Well located, staff were nice and helpful. The room was much smaller and with worse amenities than other Ibis Budget hotels I’ve stayed in (such as Budapest), so the price is a bit high considering that. Breakfast was okay.

I booked spontaneously and only paid 36 Euro for the first night (got lucky and just walked in), +10 Euro for breakfast which is excellent bang for the buck. The hotel is is walking distant to the Eurogress Aachen and Stadtgarten. Please keep it affordable, friendly and keep the good breakfast omlett!

Good points: very quiet location and cheap. Bad points: the air conditioning was dripping all over the floor. The light in the toilet was on a sensor blinding one in the night. The shower door had a large hole for opening so water sprayed over the floor. The duvet was a strange size, too narrow for even a small double but very long. The corridor carpets were filthy.

it was basic but comfortable for our needs. we drove and there is an underground car park, but no special rate for guests, so for 2 days we paid EUR36! car park outside in the street has a maximum of certain hours but we were staying 2 full days. Breakfast was good variety of items

Very small room, but who cares? Hotel rooms are all the same size when you are asleep. Best price I have ever paid for an Aachen hotel, easy walk to the Old Town when I was done with work. Friendly staff.

The room was ok, clean. Door very sturdy,which made me feel safe. The hotel is ok for the price but the location is terrible. They suggest to park in this parking in front of the hotel, which you pay for ,there is no discount,as listed on the website. At night someone tried to steal petrol from our car in that parking and threw old napkins on the car. The area feels very unsafe to walk, parking on the street seems very unsafe also.

Frontdesk was so kind, and hotel is in the right spot. good heating.. For this stay, some down side were, - there was no toilet air ventilation /grill on its place at the toilet, there was hole on the wall instead. so, a bad smell was coming out of the common air shaft and filling into to room. - we were three staying in the room, there was only one chair to sit. not a big problem - there was no bed sheet on the single bed, but not a big problem. - this time, there was not hair dryer in the room, but I got it from the frontdesk.

Room was comfortable and clean but we had to ask for more pillows as only one very flat pillow was provided for each of us. Also no tea and coffee available for free. Would be nice to be able to at least have hot water. The bed was comfortable the room was ok for our 3 night stay. Well located near the centre of Aachen.
