Kum Hoong Y Friends getaway - TripAdvisor review

We opt to stay here for the night before our flight to Christchurch the next morning as we saw that a shopping mall was located next door. However, the shopping mall was a disappointment with only a few stores and a supermarket. The hotel has a Yellow Bus that serves the international and domestic terminals and it is payable per pax. The hotel receptionist looked indifferent when we came into the lobby area and we weren’t impressed. The room was small but manageable. It was clean and the air conditioning was working well. In the lobby area, free cereals were given and one can also take some coffee if needed. I think we would opt to stay in the city in future or the Novotel or Pullman hotels which is located next to the terminals.

location excellent; room VERY small - made smaller by King Size bed; almost no room to stand let alone put down a bag and open it.

Good location but rooms were way too small

Family/King room should combine 2rooms to be 1 and get away with the bunk (as it is dangerous cos we keep knocking our heads).this would been better option for group of 3/4. other than that location n cleanliness is good for a night stay. Also, hotel should partner with the cafe next door to give a discount for hotel guests dining in n to extend opening hours till 10pm as most guests check in after 8pm.
