I was travelling on my own and needed somewhere convenient and comfortable. The location was excellent, and the room had everything I needed for a relaxed, easy stay. The Ibis delivered exactly what I was looking for.

Nothing on hotel website about carparking which then necessitated a phone call. When spoke to front desk they advised that was a first in first served basis. I then asked what happens if the carpark is full - where do I park?? And was advised there is a second car park that hotel staff can move car to. Happy with that, I made the reservation. On arrival, was told there is NO second carpark if main carpark is full, but as the hotel wasn't busy, it wouldn't be an issue. Needs to be more clarity around carparking, seriously can't expect guests not to have a secure carpark if staying. Happy to pay for parking, but not happy to arrive and have to park on street. Please update website with carparking details and cost, as this needs to be a transparent process. Won't be staying again because of this.

Difficult to open door to get to long dark hallway to room. Room very very small. Only one towel available per guest, should at least have one extra. No vending machine or option for a small snack. The room service was prompt and well presented, person who delivered was polite ans friendly.
