Manager let it down. We phoned ahead to say we were travelling with a trailer, and were told first in first served as they do not reserve parks, however if we wanted to pay for two parks to accommodate that would be fine. When we arrived, we found cones blocking...reserved parks? And minimal places available. We managed to find a park and back our trailer on to a small patch of grass out of the way, however the manager immediately came out and told us to move and that we would have to park offsite. While we discussed it with him, he was extremely rude and unaccomodating, and unwilling to help us find a solution. We were told to move down the road to public parking at our own risk (and much higher expense) - we had some very expensive items on our trailer. As Accor Members and frequent stayers at this hotel, with two rooms booked for the evening, we were extremely disappointed to be disregarded in this manor. Every other staff member during our stay was amazing - front desk staff, bar and restaurant staff, and room service were all outstanding! The manager unfortunately let us down this trip - perhaps hospitality is not for him, because the welcome we received was far from hospitable.

I was flooded out of my queen room at 2am in the morning when the room above me started leaking water onto me via the fire suppression system holes in the ceiling. After an hour I was eventually given a single bed room in a different part of the hotel, and despite all of this, was charged full price (queen room) for my stay. To make matters worse, upon check-out it was discovered that room service charges had been booked against my room, despite me not having any room service at all. Terrible.

Being woken at 2am by water leaking into your room, having to relocate to a different room, and subsequently discovering incorrect room service charges is certainly not the experience I want our guests to have. I would like to assure you that I take your concerns seriously, and I will be providing a full refund in recognition of the unacceptable experience you described. Great value for money. I got the room at a discounted rate. The room was a good size, the bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. Unfortunately I struggled with the fridge. It was too warm so I turned it the other way and it froze my items. I also couldn’t get the wifi to work.

Booked at the last minute. I normally stay at the Novotel but thought i would tey the Ibis next door. Very happy i did. I got my normal very kind welcome and then a lovely room overlooking the green space area. Bed was comfortable and also room service was great.

The room was so small, no place to sit other than the bed. There was a small chair-looking thing built into a small corner but was not useful except to put my carry-on bag for access. Not much room for our second carry-on and regular sized suitcase without getting in the way. Outlets on one side of the bed but not the other. Shower enclosure walls didn't touch the floor so water came out through that gap. No more ibis for us.
