I did love the hotel, location and breakfast but can't say the same for my room. First, the list to the Ibis side was out of order so we had to use the Novotel lift, then walk round through 2 doors to get to the Ibis section. Second, the door to my bathroom was broken and hanging slightly so didn't shut. With the fan on all night, it would bang the door so I had to use a towel to stop that, I couldn't leave the door open as the fan noise was too loud. Cause a bit of broken sleep sadly. Third, I ordered room service the first night due to needing to work the evening. The staff were amazing and so friendly but sadly my food was ice cold when it arrived. Cold chips are not the best. Staff were amazing though, all so friendly so made the experience so much better, just a pity for the price I paid for the room, it was of poorer condition than I expected.

The first night, I asked the receptionist whether ordering breakfast to my room would be included in my package, as I had already booked the room with breakfast. She confirmed that it would be covered, but later it was charged to my bill, and she didn’t seem aware of the mistake. There were no room‑service forms in my room; every day, I had to go to reception to get them myself. The rooms were extremely small, and to make things worse, there was no wall socket near the bed or table to plug in my phone charger. There was a multimedia unit on the bedside table with a USB port, but it looked unsafe—its own power cable was in terrible condition and looked like it could break or cause a short circuit.

The lift, on my side was not working for the 5 days I was there and was out of action for a number of days before my visit NOT GOOD ENOUGH I note that on my previous visit a year ago , it was very tempermental
