The only thing I would recommend this hotel is the location. Don't expect you get 4 stars service here. 1. It was 4 pm, many people are still waiting for a clean room at the lobby. There are 3 counters, we have around 10 people waiting in a line in front of the counter close to the door, meanwhile there are always people cutting into the line straight to the other counters from the other side. No one guide if we should line up in 1 line or spread to 3 or anything. It was chaos and surprisingly none of the staff notice this. 2. Around 5 pm, I heard someone knocked door said "room service", I wasn't sure it's my door cause I didn't call any room service. Door was knocked again, I get out of my bed and toward to the door, and found the staff ALREADY opened my door without permit. I was very shocked. Did they train their staff that they can open the door straight after knocking twice? 3. Check out. The worst experience. "Check out please." I put my room key on the desk. "Stay back behind the tape!" the staff shouted at me twice with one arm raised up in front of my face. I was really shocked, I know we have to follow the social distance 2 meters but you don't have to be like that rude. I guess it might because of the mask on my face so I explain that I wear this cause I am going to the airport. "I didn't say you have virus, I just ask you to stay behind the tape." "Ok, but the way you said make me feel uncomfortable." I explained, and again, this hotel never let people down "I didn't say anything wrong" "What do you want me to say?"" I am just telling the fact. ""My manager is there, if you are not happy, you are welcome to tell her." This hotel must train their staff if any guest you don't like, just fight back. I believe it's just a tough time for everyone everywhere(coronavirus), I wasn't very happy with 1 and 2 experience however both front desk and bellman looks patient and polite so I am fine with that. But definitely not the last one experience. I have stayed at YHA, BBH, Air B&B, hotel in NZ. This is the most expensive one and the most disappointing one. Don't let the memory here become the last memory of NZ before you leave.

This was our third stay. The fact that we have stayed with you on our last 3 visits to NZ "says it all". If the Novotel was at all unsatisfactory we would have looked elsewhere.

This is our second stay at this hotel and the rooms are very comfortable. Whilst we understand that things were a bit out of the ordinary on our recent stay, we can't understand why the food & drinks bill for lunch was incorrect on check out. I signed the bill when we finished lunch (and yes there was an extra item on there at the time which was corrected) to have it charged back to the room. In the morning on check out it was incorrect, overcharged & I was told it will be sorted. I've already sent an email & nothing has been corrected!

Accor. First you won't give me money back for a hotel room in Brisbane I couldn't use because the Australian government wouldn't let me into the country, then you force my wife and me and many others to leave this hotel with. "good luck finding another hotel room" send off. We are living in unprecedented times. You obviously don't think your customers are any more important than the legal fine print. Why should I ever stay in one of your hotels EVER AGAIN ?

My sincere apologies that your experience with Accor hotels has not been the best in recent times due to the Convid-19 pandemic. Regrettably, I am unable to assist with your disappointment towards your accommodation/refund request at one of Accor's Brisbane properties. I understand that being required to leave Novotel Auckland Airport and move to another hotel is not ideal, however, due to our property being taken over by the government we have had no choice but to relocate current guests to other hotels for their safety. Our Property is currently being used as an Isolation Hotel for those Kiwis who have been brought back to the country on Mercy flights. To ensure that the guest we had to relocate had accommodation to go to we assisted with booking alternative properties and provided free transfers to these properties to ensure they were safely relocated. Our guests & staff safety is number 1 at all times. Again I do sincerely apologies that this experience did not meet your satisfaction. I do thank you for your cooperation during this time and for taking the time to provide us with this feedback. The hotel is great. It's extremely convenient if you are heading out from the International Terminal as I was. I got in late and my flight out was the next afternoon. The 11:00am checkout was great. The terminal is right across the street, probably a 100 meter walk.

Well located for airport access. Hard to comment on facilities as closed because of circumstances.

Under very trying circumstances ( the day of lockdown with many stranded customers) the staff worked exceptionally well to support and look after everyone and, remained customer focused and pleasant at all times ( despite many stressed customers not being that polite !) All the staff should be commended for their efforts and many went over and above helping customers in difficulties with their in going travel arrangements. Please pass on again my thanks to all the staff.

Staying at the airport took the stress away about getting to the airport in time for our international flight. I would highly recommend anyone looking to stay near the airport for a flight, look at Novotel. The hotel was very clean, great restaurant, and great staff. The breakfast included in the stay was fantastic. I would definitely stay again without question.

The experience was very good with the exception that we did not have a working refrigerator for the two days we were at the hotel. The staff was excellent and helpful, especially given the situation with covid-19. Dinner in the restaurant was very good. All in all, this was a very good experience.

We stayed during the recent Covid 19 lockdown awaiting a flight out to the UK. We were impressed with the way the hotel dealt with the situaion and were very flexible to our needs. Very impressed that the general manager rang us directly to ask us to vacate our rooms due to the Government requisition of the hotel but as we had managed to get a flight out the following day allowed us to saty in our room until the flight checking open. Thank you! This was a very diffiuclt and unsettling time for us and it was made easier by the helpful attitiude of all the staff we came into contact with.

Great location. Friendly staff. Lovely rooms. Feel like detracted because I've stayed at so many places lately where breakfast included, no credit card charges, some mini-bar treats free and this seemed a contrast and a bit penny pinching. It's not like it is cheap anyway, may as well increase the cost but throw in some "freebies".
