I returned to my room in the early evening to find I was locked out due to the room door malfunctioning. The staff on said they would get it resolved but when I returned later that night it was still locked. All my clothes and computer & work equipment were locked inside - it was my first day on a new job. I was provided another room and I asked that I be advised overnight via text what was happening. No communication overnight. I went to reception at 6.30am to be told they were trying the software people who have a 24/7 arrangement but they were not responding. I left my phone number again and cam back at 7.00am to someone new on reception. They were on the phone to the software company but still no success. I had to go to work at 7.30 in yesterdays clothes (my suit etc still in the room). I left my number again for the new person. Later that morning I was left a message to say that the room was unlocked and my belongings had been packed up and at reception. I came back during our lunch break to collect my things. I didnt sleep very well and was not in great shape the next day to make a good first impression. My presentation couldnt go ahead as I had no equipment. The room charge was refunded but overall the experience was a disaster. Clearly this should not have happened if the right training and systems were in place.

I like this hotel because the service from the staff is always amazing. Things ae always very clean, the room is always serviced. Good value for money.
