During winter months the room should be nice and warm so I had set the temperature to warm up such as, 23 C and leave the room for supermarket or go for dinner and came back to the room the air con had changed to default setting to fridge cold every single time.

Hotel is well located and the stay was pleasant. The trouble happened after I got home and was double charged for the room. I called and it got sorted, but just wastes my time having to call and then I have international transaction fees I’m expected to cover on the incorrect charges to my card.

I understand how frustrating it is to be incorrectly double charged, especially after you had already returned home and then needed to spend time resolving it with us. I also appreciate you highlighting the additional issue of international transaction fees—this is not something you should be out of pocket for due to an error on our side. I can confirm the duplicate charge has been corrected. Regarding the international transaction fees you were charged as a result of this error, please send through a copy of your bank statement showing the fees and we will review this for reimbursement. We appreciate your patience while this was being fixed, and we’re also reviewing our payment processing procedures to help prevent situations like this from happening again.
