As a gold member I was greeted upon checking but nothing further unlike other 4 star hotels no complementary stuff. I can hear next room guest talking on the phone and water running from upstairs. Moles on sink drain holes.

The hotel has a good location close to K-road and an easy walk to the CBD but has a few things missing to hit 4 star. The buffet breakfast was minimal, very basic and the hot options weren't refreshed so were either empty or cold the choice was extremely disappointing The cold options were very poor u wondered why they even bothered. What I found infuriating was you could BUY a full cooked breakfast!..well i thought I had when i paid extra to include breakfast but all I got the choice off was cold boiled anemic bacon, bean juice and some slimy mushrooms that no one else wanted and I also had to pay extra if I didn't want the cold coffee from the flask. I wish I had saved the money spent on including breakfast and just eaten out! On room facilities - the public toilets in the CBD provide a higher quality toilet paper. I was shocked the first time I used it...it's SINGLE PLY!! so completely disintegrated think I used a whole roll in 2days. The outside space I had was a garden patio but the furniture was the cheapest of the cheapest plastic garden chairs they were awful and there was no table so all you could do was sit outside but there was no where to out a drink it was not pleasant. Inside there was a strange electrical clicking noise that comes from the air con so bringing earplug. I could also here next door snoring so the walls must be paper thin If u return to Auckland I will stay somewhere else.
