ENWORBD Couples - TripAdvisor review

Hotel was clean, reception staff were not friendly, very abrupt on talking to us. Reastaurant and bar service was very slow. At breakfast there was very little food, most had been eaten by the Rugby League team staying there. Not a pleasant stay.

Hotel is showing its age

We arrived around 6pm, turned the air con on as it was very hot in the room. Went down to the bar for dinner. Returned around 9pm to a still very hot room. Tried to make sure AC was set to cool, waited a further 30 mins then called reception for advice. Concierge came up, tired to get it working and decided to move us to another room. In this room, the bedside lamps strobed when turned on and flickered on and off . Given it was getting late we just finished getting ready for bed in the dark and told reception in the morning! The saving grace for this hotel is the staff, who are unfailingly pleasant and helpful. However, the hotel itself needs maintenance.
