From the delay with your room being ready at 3.00pm, to the quality of the scone, your dinner experience, and most importantly, becoming unwell during the night, I completely understand how distressing and disappointing this must have been. I am particularly concerned to hear that you contacted Reception during the night when you were unwell. While we appreciate that our team cannot provide medication, we should always ensure that a guest who is feeling unwell receives appropriate care and assistance within what we can provide. I am sorry, however, that your check-in experience was not as seamless as you would have expected. I completely understand your frustration, particularly when comparing the process with your experience at the Novotel. I would just like to clarify that, for security and privacy reasons, we do not store guests’ credit card details on file at the hotel. Therefore, our team may need to request the card again at check-in to complete the necessary payment or pre-authorisation process. That said, I appreciate your feedback regarding the process and will certainly share it with our Front Office team to see how we can make this as quick and seamless as possible for our returning guests.
