I appreciated receiving a special invite to move from the Novotel to try this 5 star experience. What I was expecting vs what was encountered was very diffferent. Check in had one person working and the rest was self serve via the computer. There were three people in front of us in the queue at which point we were taken to a PC to have somoeone use the self serve PC to check us in. They were nice and offered too take our bags up with only a short wait. We declined but appreciated the ooffer. The room was nice, with a good view and glazing helped keep warmth in and noise out. the bathroom looked elegant and had ample space. Small touches like "welcome *name*" would be nice on the TV. One robe was torn in a few places and had stains on it. The complimentary bottle of water was nice - yet everything in the room has a price. You like the water bottle, BUY IT! Oh the robes are nice, BUY ONE!. And I can't believe anyoone is paying $9 for a small bag of MnM's? This is a flagship premium 5 star experience but nothing is factored in as a nice toucch. It unfortunately ffelt more oofo a dressed up standard hotel experience and we have had plenty of better experiences in lesser advertised star hotels. Would we stay here again? Unlikely. I have given a higher score purely based on the fact that this was a complimentary offer experience which we are incredibly grateful for. I hope my feedback can go a ways to helping the experience match the anticipation.

The room is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The Temperature is easy to adjust. Staff were very pleasant. It would have helped to be advised where the bar and restaurant were when I checked in!

1. At check in I asked for a printed receipt as I prepaid the room and the lady said you will have it at check out, bearing in mind I was checking out at 5:00 am the following morning 2. At check out I asked for the receipt and the gentleman said it will be emailed to you. 3. I am still waiting for the receipt to be emailed 3 days later 4. At dinner I ordered 3 course meal and a drink of Coke at at the same time and to all come at the same time. the 3 course meal arrives but no Coke 5. 10 minutes later the Coke did not arrive, I reminded the lady and she said it will come soon. 6. Another 10 minutes the coke did not arrive, I reminded the same lady again and she said we are really busy, it will come. 7. I nearly finished my meal so I cancelled the Coke 8. I think if a glass of Coke takes over 20 minutes to arrive, that is poor service
