Within walking distance of the hotel you can reach the Cologne Trade Fair Centre, the Lanxess arena and the Tanzbrunnen. You can get to the old town and the cathedral by tram. The Köln Deutz Messe and Deutz Bahnhof stops are within walking distance of the hotel. Cologne Deutz also has an ICE railway station, which is one stop before Cologne Central Station. 520 euro for 3 nights in a BUDGET hotel is way to expensive. Even if there is great demand due to FIBO.

We do everything we can to offer you the best possible quality of service during each of your stays. Your opinion is therefore of great interest to us. Unfortunately, I had to realise that you were not completely satisfied with our service and that you had booked the room at the ibis budget Köln Messe** with different expectations. You wrote that the room rate of €524 for 3 nights was not justified. You also realised that the air conditioning was not working in mid-April. As you correctly wrote, the FIBO trade fair and the REWE FINAL4 handball final took place in the Lanxess Arena, which is within walking distance, during the period of your visit. Supply and demand also determine the price in the hotel industry. So you can imagine that demand around the trade fair and the Lanxess Arena was particularly high during this period. Nevertheless, our rate, within the 2* competitor market, was below the average, which was €224 per night. The air conditioning was deliberately not yet switched on, as in mid-April - with an outside temperature of ~15°C - it was not yet working efficiently and would only produce unnecessary CO2 emissions. Nevertheless, we would like to apologise for your dissatisfaction and give you 500 Courtesy Points on your ALL LIFESTYLE BONUSCARD.
