Good location. The furnitures are little bit outdated, however the bed and mattress were perfect for sleep. It was quiet and cozy. There was clean, friendly and professional staff. The breakfast was very good, everything fresh, tasty and also sparkling wine available. It was more brunch as breakfast. At weekend till midday. By weekend visit - perfect.

I am writing this review to warn other guests about a serious security incident that occurred during my stay at Pullman Cologne on 23 November 2025. When I returned to my room in the evening, I discovered that GBP 1,150 and USD 200 were missing from the in-room safe. The police attended the scene and confirmed visible signs of forced entry on the room door. This was extremely alarming. What made the situation worse was the hotel’s initial reaction. Despite the urgency, I was told to wait until the next morning for housekeeping and a technician. Only after I insisted and contacted the police myself did the hotel take the incident seriously. I was also given incorrect information about the safe. Reception staff told me it could not be opened without resetting the digital code. Later, I learned the safe has a physical override key, which guests are not informed about. This key allows access to the safe without the guest’s code. I met with the General Manager the next day, who assured me that: – the incident would be fully investigated – a detailed written report would be sent – I would be connected with the hotel’s insurance provider I only received a brief confirmation that did not reflect what was discussed, and I have not been connected with the insurance as promised. My follow-up messages have gone unanswered. The lack of security measures on the guest floors (no CCTV), the confirmed forced entry, the safe’s undisclosed physical key access, and the hotel’s poor handling of the situation have left me deeply disappointed and feeling unsafe. I am sharing this so future guests are aware of the risks and the way such incidents are handled. I hope the hotel takes this seriously and implements proper security measures to protect its guests.

I stayed at Pullman Cologne from November 18 to 20, and it was an absolutely outstanding experience. My room was located on a high floor with a beautiful view of the Cologne Cathedral, which made my stay even more special. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout my visit, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment I arrived. Thanks to their professionalism and kindness, I was able to relax and fully enjoy my time at the hotel. Overall, I would easily rate this stay 200% satisfaction. Everything—from the view, to the comfort of the room, to the thoughtful service—exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend Pullman Cologne and would love to return on my next visit to the city.
